P&C News

To celebrate the contribution of some of our

retiring members, the final P&C meeting for

2019 is on Monday 2 December. It will be held at

the Thirsty Crow at 6.30pm (please note the time change from our regular meeting time).

DiscriminAid On Saturday 14 December, 3:00-5:00pm at the PCYC Wagga

Wagga building at 228 Gurwood St, the Wagga Wagga Youth

Committee will be hosting an afternoon of group discussions,

talking about the diverse kinds of discrimination and have a guest

presenter on the difficulties of dealing with discrimination in high

school and some helpful strategies to handle different situations.

This is a free event to raise awareness of discrimination by and

against young people in High School, and to promote useful

strategies for those experiencing it. Some refreshments will be

provided, with participants being engaged in table groups to share

their experiences, ideas and discuss meaningful solutions to the

issue and have their voices heard.
