The Fourteenth meeting of Academic Council of G. H, Raisoni College of Engineering was

held on 21.09.2015 at 11 ,00 am in the Conference Hall of the college. Dr. P. R. Bajaj , its

Chairperson pres ided over the meeting.

Panel of Exam iners for session 2015-16. Was approved by the house

AGENDA NO-5/14 :

Implementation of CBCS from 2015-16.

Director informed the house that institute desires to implement CBCS from the session

2015-16 for which institute has prepared the guidelines which are approved by the

committee appointed by RTMNU, were sent to the University for approval. It is already

approved by the Academic Council of the University however formal letter is yet to rece ive.

House appreciated the efforts of the Institute for the implementation of CBCS.

As there was no point to discuss meeting ended with thanks.

Action Taken Report on 14th Meeting of Academic Council

Resolution No.1/14

The minutes of 13th meeting of the Academic Council was confirmed by the house,

Action Taken: Approved minutes are displayed on Institute website

AGENDA NO-3/14:

a. Experts suggested that Chairman should report the changes made in syllabi in

proper format mentioning subject wise, existing topic, changes made and rationale

for making that change.

Action Taken: As discussed all departments have prepared the report of changes made in syllabi which is given in Table-1,

c. Interdisciplinary electives can be added in the list of electives.

Resolution No.3c/14:

List of interdisciplinary electives was approved for inclusion in the list of department electives.

Action Taken:

Interdisciplinary electives are added in the list of core electives as ,shown in Table-2.

Resolution No.4/14:

Panel of Examiners for session 2015-16. Was approved by the house

Action Taken:

Examiners for setting and valuation were invited from the approved list and others. The

statistics for the same' is mentioned in Table-3.

Action Taken: CBCS scheme is approved by academic council and Management council of RTMNU, Nagpur letter is about to receive.
