1.jagat-prabhum deva-devam anantam puruhottamam stuvan nAma-sahasreNa purushaH satatotthitaH.Meaning:, Who is supreme over all devas and who is the supreme spirit.who is pervading being( Spread through) and master of all the worlds. He will be free from all sorrows who is always praised by 'the sahasranAma' (thousand names)

2.tameva cArcayan nityam bhaktyA purusham avyayam dhyAyan stuvan namasyamS-ca yajamAnas-tam-eva-cha.Meaning:The bhaktha who prays & Meditates the Purusha ( who is

portrayed as Supreme Lord in Vedhas)daily without break,will be freed from all sorrows .

Here Avayaya means = undecaying being ( No Change Example : Fire)Yajamanha Means Heads ( Seshi ) we all are Seshi

3.ANADI-NIDHANAM VISHNUM SARVA-LOKA-MAHESVARAM LOKADHYAKSHAM STUVAN-NITYAM SARVA-DUKHATIGO BHAVET.

Meaning:All Living Being will be freed from all sorrows by chanting the Sahasranamam of lord Vishnu.

Here in this slokam Lord Vishnu is said as Anadi -Nidhanam(WITHOUT BEGINNING AND END) , Sarva Loka maheswaram ( Supreme head of all the world.)

4.braHmaNyam sarva-dharmaj~nam lokAnAm kIrti-vardhanam loka-nAtham mahad-bhUtam sarva-bhUta-bhavodbhavam.Meaning :supreme Brahman who enhances the reputation of all

the living and Nonliving Beings, is the Knower of all Dharma( Righteous ness) is Praised in the all worlds.

Emperor of Entire world from whom all the beings and whole Samsara ( Universe) has come out

5.Esha me sarva-dharmAnAm dharmo'dhikatamo mataH yad bhaktyA puNDarIkAsham stavair arcen naraH sadA.
