SELECTION
Is the process of studying the backgrounds of
potential volunteers and motivating them to fill
positions.
Is the process of familiarizing those
recruited in the volunteer role to the expectations of 4-H and the volunteer
position.
ORIENTATION
Training is the process of helping volunteers develop skills that will improve the quality of their work.
TRAINING
Is providing opportunities for volunteers to put
their knowledge and skills into appropriate action and to function
in a supportive environment.
UTILIZATION
Situational Leadership
Recognition is acknowledging and rewarding sound volunteer effort.
Recognition is built on respect and appreciation. It will help motivate volunteers to stay involved in the program.
RECOGNITION
