• Training for all qualifications will occur on the RTO premises across six (6) QPSC campuses.

Fees & Charges
• Fees for undertaking a VET Qualification at this RTO will not be charged
• Consumable levies will be charged as per the information distributed at subject selection
• A pro-rata consumable levy will be charged upon late entry to the course
• A pro-rata amount will be refunded if the learner exits early and does not complete the course

Competency Based Training and Assessment
• C for Competent
• NYC or NC for Not Competent
• Assessment items will be marked as satisfactory, not satisfactory, or working towards competence yes/no
• The overall result of C or NYC/NC will be used when you have completed all assessment for a unit of competency and together it is deemed that you have met the requirements of the unit
• Both knowledge and skills are assessed through theory and practical work

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

The RTO is able to offer education and support services for the following areas, either within the RTO or through third party organisations. If a third party organisation is engaged there may be additional costs incurred by the learner.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)
• You must have a USI before a certificate or statement of attainment can be issued
• This number stays with you for life
• It is an account that will store all of your vocational education and training history

Issuance of Qualifications
• Students will receive the certification documentation to which they are entitled once it has been identified that all course requirements have been met
• If you do not fulfil all the requirements of the course you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the components you did successfully complete
• Certification documentation is issued within 30 calendar days of meeting all the requirements of the course, as long as all fees have been paid
• Students and parents/caregivers are confident that the qualifications they have been awarded are part of Australia’s national qualifications framework – the AQF

Reissuing Qualifications
The RTO maintains a Register of Certification Documents Issued for 30 years from the date of issue. This allows learners to request a reissue of their documentation at a later date.
• All requests for a replacement qualification or statement of attainment must be in writing (email is acceptable) from the learner to the RTO Manager
• The request will be forwarded to the RTO to coordinate
• The RTO will access the archived records/Register of Certification Documentation Issued to access the required information for the replacement document, or contact QCAA for a reissue;
• The replacement will identify that it is a re-issued version as well as follow all requirements for printing and issuing qualifications and statements of attainment as outlined in the checklist for certification documentation; and
• The replacement will be issued with 30 working days of receipt of the written request.
