Program of the 1st day
The aim of the 1st day was to review of the activities and the results of O1 Flipped Classroom Pedagogical Model and Practice, analyze the consequences of the national reports, surveys, events.

9:30Welcome words by project coordinator Maria Hartyányi (ITS) and the actual meeting’s coordinator Maite Villalba (UEM). Every participant person briefly introduced her/himself.

Maria Hartyányi talked about the project structure to make an overview progress, supported by PowerPoint presentation. Maria provided a breakdown of partners, meetings and materials. She told the research was completed in April 2016 and in September 2016, the competence framework should be ready by the Irish partner CIT. Content development (implementation) should be ready for next year’s March, before 1 yearlong testing period. The final result should be developed in Summer of 2018.

UEM partners (Sara Redondo, Maite Villalba, Guillermo Castilla and María Vela) presented on the state-of-the-art of FC in Spain – they provided a number of case studies and spoke about the FC approach in each of these. Guillermo presented on the demographic-specific data from his study. Conclusions: Positive teacher attitude & students encourage them to innovate, but pedagogical and digital training required.

Darragh Coakley and Shane Cronin (CIT) presented on the flipped classroom method used for CIT’s MA in e-learning design & development

Krisztina Juhász (SZÁMALK) presented on innovative teaching methods in HU - Noted that IT skills and competencies of VET teachers is somewhat limited, students had a decent amount of access to the appropriate digital tools.

Vera Tauchmanova and Martina Manenova (UHK) presented on the survey of CZ teachers. Generally people had a positive view of the method. Overall, IT skills amongst partners were varied - experience was highest with presentations, digital pictures and social networks

Potential of FC methods in VET - orientating ideas for the brainstorming. Nora presented on the process of brainstorming and their experiences with it. The aim of the 2nd day was to show presentations, suggestions on “O2 Flipped Classroom Curriculum for VET teachers and to discuss on accompanying activities (quality management, dissemination, financial issues, next meeting),
9:20All parties presented on the mind maps that had been developed the previous day. Discussions followed on from all partners on the approaches and items implemented.

Martin Smith (OPUS) presented on the competency framework, he suggested that it would be possible to structure the course in such a way that it would correlate to the EQF (e.g.: Environment, Competency Framework Set, Competency Framework (or Skill Set), Specialization, Skill, Competence). A discussion followed on 2 potential approaches:1) PLAN, BUILD, OPERATE or 2) CONTENT, PEDAGOGY, TECHNOLOGY, REFLECTION, STRUCTURES. It was agreed that the approach to competencies would be the first option, with expanded model: PLAN, BUILD, OPERATE, ENABLE, MANAGE. Decision is followed by general discussion.

Early ideas: Darragh Coakley and Shane Cronin (CIT) presented on the proposed FC curriculum and potential online learning content, which can be developed & localized from other sources, such as other ongoing projects. Maria Hartyányi (ITS) noted that some of the presentation content related to the special needs of VET could be used as the chapter 1 of the final book (O6). It was agreed that content for modules would be produced from Sept onwards according to the syllabus and that content for a single module would be produced every month.

János Szabó (ITS) presented on the dissemination of the platform and the newsletter too and how to develop the newsletter, and he presented on the financial requirements for the project: all receipts, boarding cards, etc. need to be retained

Scheduling next tasks. A discussion was held on the date of the next meeting and it was agreed that it would be on March 30 & 31st in the Czech Republic.

Annex 1: Accepted deadlines and appointments
− O1-A2 done - every partner should check their own report. Every data must be filled out. Every country report should have the same structure --> check Hungarian version. We will have 5 country report what will be upload to ERASMUS+ portal. This 5 report will be merged by Maite's team as a conclusion. Not too much, because it should be translated to all languages. It means 3-5 pages totally (not per country! cz+es+hu in one document) Deadline: 5th of July
− Survey finishing, only english: HU – Ildikó Balassa, CZ – Vera Tauchmanova, ES – Maite Villalba's team. Vera Tauchmanova will make a common survey, cumulated for all countries. Deadline: 5th of July
− O1-A4 - Maite: Model, short summary in 1-2 pages - "What is Flipped Classroom?" Deadline: next few days after the meeting.
− Newsletter : Maite should create a short 2 pages and publish it everywhere, but before this Martin will review/revise it. Deadline: 10th of July
− Deadline for translations: 20th of July − Creating course plan, material, piloting, report, research should be used to implement the inform all other
activities. All content ready in 3 languages: Deadline: March 2018− Modules would be produced from Sept onwards according to the syllabus and
that content for a single module would be produced every month.− All partners should upload their photos and presentations to the flip-it.hu platform. Deadline: ASAP− Until April 2017, 75% of the initial 40% of project budget must have been spent. 1st financial check of the
