Endangered Species Project

As a society we are vulnerable; we are vulnerable individually to infection, as a community to tornados, avalanches, volcanoes and wild fires, and as a population to hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes, and tsunamis.

What are animals vulnerable to? What causes species of animals to become endangered or even become extinct? Should we intervene to save endangered species? Why or why not?

Objective: Research an endangered species that meets the requirements of the

rubric.

4. Research Paper (70 points) . You need to write an essay/research paper that explains the information from your graphic organizer and that includes citations your sources.Written Report (3 paragraph minimum/Merit) (5 paragraph minimum/Honors)

5. Artwork/Visual Representation (25 points)/Gallery Walk – (5 points). This part of the project must be self-created. We will spend a day presenting and looking at projects. It can be:
