EGSS Council Meeting Agenda

1. Approval of the meeting minutes from June 10th (1’) AO, JI

2. Approval of the agenda for June 28th 2016 meeting (1’) JA, JI

3. Club proposal re: fund for a new club for students – revised version-DH (10’)

- Printing Costs are not necessary, advertising for free through EGSS newsletter

and

- We will provide funds for refreshments at the first event ( up to $30 with

receipts)

- We will provide speaker gifts @ $50 with confirmed dates of speakers + speaker

name MAX 3 Speakers in the year.

- Provide a semesterly report how the club is going (attendance, interest etc) so

that we can re-evaluate after each semester (possibility of increasing support).

4. PGSS BBQ Bash Orientation booth (5’)- JA

- Date: September 7th 4-8pm

- Need to prepare materials, posters etc to promote EGSS

- JI, CS- help with prep, DH, AO, JI, EI- help at table

- Meet towards end of August

5. New Secretary review of application (20’)-DT

- Candidate 3 is voted as secretary.

- 5 for, 1 abstain (JA)

6. Update on Transition between Councils (10’) – DH-keys, google drive, email lists etc

- Fall General Assembly- First week of September, TBA by secretary

7. Details for BBQ Bash-

- EGSS services/ammenties- travel grants, study spaces- brochure with upcoming

events

- “Photo Booth” to post on Facebook/twitter with EGSS on the border

- EGSS sign

- All to be made at end of Aug/ early Sept.
