The ViennaMiddleSchool is a

school for all children.

Specially trained teachers who are familiar with the

transition phase from primary school accompany

pupils during their transition to the VMS.

Pupil enrolment does not depend on final report card marks from primary school.

All pupils from one primary school class can move on

together to the VMS.

The ViennaMiddleSchooloffers more than just normal education.

Support and help with learning outside of normal lessonsmakes private tuition unnecessary.

A voluntary whole-day programme offers learning help and meaningful leisure activities.

An ‘Arrival Phase’ in the morning shows pupils thatthey are welcome at school even before lessons begin.

A joint start to the week’s learning with a Learning-Coaching-Session helps pupils plan their individual learning goals.
