"Forming Comparative and superlative Adjectives"

Overview:

This video is about „Focus on Form‟ classroom. The subject is “Forming

Comparative and Superlative Adjectives”. From this video you will learn how

to form a comparative adjective using –er or more. As the instructor shows,

we use „–er‟ for short words (one syllable) and we use „more‟ for longer words

(two syllables or more). On the other hand, to form the superlatives adjectives

we add –est or most.

The students had an instrumental motivation and they were well participated.

The instructor illustrated the forms clearly. The lesson was well organized

and well controlled.

Objectives:

The student will be able to differentiate between Comparative and Superlative

adjectives.

The student will be able to form sentences using comparative and superlatives

adjectives.

The student will be able to know when to use –er and when to more in

comparison.

The student will be able to know when to use –est and when to use most for

the superlatives adjectives.
