Application Process
Updated Funding Information• Application Updates:
• A researcher is allowed 1 voucher request in a calendar year
• NIH funded grants requesting CRC resources only in direct relation to currently funded aims will undergo the Expedited review process
• K awards should be at pilot level and require a letter from the PI’s department indicating other mentor, department, and/or institutional support for this project
• Resource Updates:
• Equipment: Should be small portion of entire research project (total value of equipment capped at $5,000). A special call for large equipment will be considered at the end of the year if funds available.
• Core Facilities: (Vanderbilt and Meharry Cores) Any request > $5,000 per core will be expected to include a cost sharing plan in which 50% will be provided by the PI/Department and 50% will be provided by VICTR. The cost sharing requirement begins at $5,001.
