Directions & Suggestions for Use
Thank you so much for your download! I hope you enjoy introducing your students to Veterans Day with this fun flip book!
Directions for Assembly:(1) Print out enough copies of the book pages (4-8) for your class. Each print will give you 2 complete books since the books are half of a page.
(2) Cut the pages down the center dotted line, then staple on the left edge to create 2 complete books.
(3) Print out the picture page. The pictures all come with a marked edge where you will fold and glue the picture into the book. I recommend using glue or double sided tape for the best hold. If you use double sided tape, you may need to fold the tape in half, so do what works best for your class!
(4) Cut out the pictures on the OUTSIDE solid lines and the solid MIDDLE line ABOVE the wording “fold and glue here.” Arrows are provided on the sheet to make it easier for students.
(5) Fold the flap with “fold and glue here” under the picture and attach to the book pages. You may wish to add a piece of regular tape on top to secure the hold.
(6) The wording in the boxes on the book pages corresponds to the following pictures: -November (picture of turkey)-military (3 service members together)-safe (children playing with a service member near them)-thank you (group of patriotic children)
Thank you so much for downloading and enjoy!Happy Veterans Day!
