Fulton PulseVLP (Vertical Low Pressure)steam boilers use pulse combustion to providethe highest efficiencies possible for a steamboiler, up to 85%.

The pulse combustion process does not utilizea power burner, and has no moving parts.Combustion takes place in a sealedenvironment and the process is similar to aninternal combustion engine. Pulse combustionprovides operating simplicity and lowermaintenance costs than traditional steamboiler designs.

Additional features include:

• Low electrical consumption; 120 VAC with lessthan 1 amp current draw during boileroperation.

• No power burner requirements combinedwith the Pulse design results in the lowestmaintenance cost in the industry.

• Fits through a standard doorway, making itideal for retrofit applications.

VENTINGA conventional burner extracts air from the boiler room. An airdamper must be opened to let air in when the boiler is running. Therefore, the boiler room needs to be heated to avoid freezing. With a pulse boiler sealed combustion system, the air is drawninto the boiler from outside the boiler room through smalldiameter PVC pipe. Exhaust exits from the pulse boiler via smalldiameter stainless steel venting.

Pulse steam boilers can vent in many differentways, and no masonry chimney is required. Each boiler can vent individually or ventcollectively through a common headersystem. Intake and exhaustventing can be installedthrough a sidewall, aroof, or combinationsidewall and roof.

Multiple boilers ventingthrough a commonintake and exhaustmanifold have fewerbuilding penetrationsand allow for flexibleventing lengths.
