Why SOCIAL STYLE?
Relationships are assets is the principle on which this interpersonal skills training course is
based. It is a skills-building program based upon the TRACOM SOCIAL STYLE® approach to
interpersonal relationships.
We will take you beyond conceptual understanding to the actual development of skills
allowing you to create appropriate responses in interpersonal situations. Such responses,
which are based upon years of research and training in SOCIAL STYLE concepts, can lead to
more productive relationships and better business results.
This course will transform how you Think, Act and React, enabling you to build high-
performing relationships that will increase your professional success.

What is Versatility?The true power of SOCIAL STYLE is Versatility: once you understand your own and others’
SOCIAL STYLEs, you will be able to create meaningful and productive relationships with
anyone!
Who is this course for?This course is invaluable for those that will soon be taking leading roles in teams or already
hold managerial positions. As a result, they will need improved interpersonal skills as well
as methods to coach, critique, and praise team members appropriately and effectively.
Multi-Rater SOCIAL STYLE & Enhanced Versatility Profile: before the workshop, each
participant completes a short online survey (5 – 10 minutes). They identify up to ten other
individuals (raters), to assess their Versatility. A custom 40-page Enhanced Versatility Report
is generated and it includes:
• Review of SOCIAL STYLE and Versatility concepts.
• Personalized Versatility results addressing the specific components of social
endorsement.
• Recommended action items to improve Versatility based on Style and Versatility
ratings.
• "Doing Something for Others," a section that recommends ways to interact with people
of each Style.
This Versatility Report remains the participant’s to keep and refer to even after the course has ended. This will be the basis for understanding one’s own SOCIAL STYLE and how to relate to others.
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
• Identify the four SOCIAL STYLEs
• Have a strong understanding of the SOCIAL STYLE ModelTM and the Versatility Model
• Apply the concepts to real-world managerial workplace situations
• Support the Style needs of clients, customers, managers, direct reports and peers,
creating productive relationships all around
• Control own behaviour, reduce or increase tension for optimum productivity
• Identify “backup behaviour” and eliminate it
• Increase own Versatility – a concept that TRACOM research has shown to correlate
with success in the workplace
This is an online and highly interactive course in the form of a workshop with exercises,
facilitated discussions, identification techniques and role play.
Participants will be split into teams in some parts of the course and will be expected to
interact and report their results.
The facilitators are TRACOM certified and EY Academy qualified trainers.

• The SOCIAL STYLE Passport, allows you to select any of more than 80 country and
regional norms to instantaneously see how their SOCIAL STYLE may change based on
the behaviour standards of that locale. This tool is especially effective if you work in
diverse multicultural environments and in virtual or international work scenarios.
The Multi-Rater Versatility Checkup monitors your Versatility and is essential for helping
develop Versatility skills and improving your effectiveness as a manager or leader.
