SELECTIVE POST-EMERGENT HERBICIDE FOR WEED CONTROL IN TABLE BEETS
CROPS FOR USE
Table (red garden) beet
Packaging:10 L jugs
Rainfastness:4 hours
Formulation:306 g/L emulsifiable concentrate
Active Ingredients: Phenmedipham- Group 5 herbicide
Desmedipham- Group 5 herbicide
Features and Benefits:- Provides both grassy and broadleaf weed control
- Concentrated formulation treats more acres with less product
Application Tips:- Apply in a minimum of 100 to 200 L/ha of water (41 to 81 L/ac.)
- Apply to the weeds before reaching the 4-leaf stage
- The first spray must be applied when the earliest weeds have reached the cotyledon stage
- Repeat applications at 5 to 7 day intervals following the first application, or when another flush of weeds germinates
- May cause temporary growth retardation and/or chlorosis or tip burn on red garden (table) beets. Beets usually resume normal growth within 10 days.
- Do not exceed rates recommended on label. Uneven application such as swath overlapping, variable tractor speed, spraying on turns, etc., may result in crop injury.

RELIABLE BROADLEAF WEED CONTROL IN A RANGE OF VEGETABLE CROPS
CROPS FOR USE
Carrot, Garlic, Onion (dry bulb), Sweet corn
Packaging:8 L jugs
Rainfastness:1 hour
Formulation:280 g/L emulsifiable concentrate
Active Ingredients: Bromoxynil - Group 6 herbicide
Application Tips:Garlic - Apply early post-emergence
- Apply in 200 to 300 L water/ha (81 to 121 L water/ac.)
Sweet corn- Corn may be treated with a broadcast post-emergent application at the
recommended rate from the 4-leaf stage onward
- To ensure adequate coverage of weeds, drop pipes should be used when corn is beyond the 8-leaf stage or for a second application for later-germinating weeds such as cocklebur and velvetleaf
- Apply in 200 to 300 L water/ha (81 to 121 L water/ac.)

Onion (dry bulb)- The first application should be made when onions are at the 2 to 3 leaf stage,
and the second application made when onions are at the 4 to 5 leaf stage
- Severe leaf burn may occur if weather conditions have not been conducive to the development of the outer waxy layer of the onion leaf
- Apply in 200 L water/ha (81 L water/ac.)
Carrot- Apply only to carrots grown on muck soils containing greater than 10% organic
matter
- Apply 3-4 days prior to crop emergence by ground application only. One application per year.

- Protects from the inside of the plant, preventing wash-off with subsequent rainfalls
- Penetrates the stem and leaf surface and provides local systemic activity by moving through the plant to protect new growth
Application Tips:- Thorough spray coverage of all plant material (particularly lower stems) is
essential to attain optimum performance
- Begin applications when conditions are favourable for disease development but before infection occurs. Continue on 7 to 14 day intervals until the threat of disease is over
- Use the high rate and shorter application interval under high disease pressure and when conditions of rapid disease development exist. When using intervals longer than 7 days, alternate with an application of a contact fungicide between Tattoo C applications.

Asparagus, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, Kale, Onion, Pepper, Sweet corn, Tomato
Packaging:1 L jugs
Rainfastness:1 hour
Formulation:50 g/L emulsifiable concentrate
Active Ingredients: Deltamethrin - Group 3 insecticide
Features and Benefits:- The most powerful synthetic pyrethroid insecticide on the market
- Works very fast – on contact and by ingestion
- Effective on a broad range of insect pests
Application Tips:- In soils with high organic content (muck soils), special care in application is
necessary. Apply no more than 200 mL/ha (81 mL/ac.). Apply only once during each crop year on muck soil, prior to August 1
- Where a rate range is given, the higher rate should be used when:
- The crop canopy is dense and foliage will inhibit thorough spray coverage
- A number of insect growth stages are present
- Insect populations are high
- Ensure insects are contacted by spray, even when located on underside of leaves or if foliage is dense
- Comprehensive spray coverage (including the underside of leaves and throughout dense crop canopies) is essential for effective control

Packaging:2 L jugs
Rainfastness:When dry
Formulation:240 g/L liquid
Active Ingredients: Spirotetramat - Group 23 insecticide
Features and Benefits:- Unique two-way systemic control of sucking insect pests
- Travels up and down the entire plant to protect leaves, roots and new growth
- Long residual control provides extremely effective activity on hard-to-control pests like aphids and psyllids
- Controls pests often missed by products with only contact or translaminar activity
- Residual activity continues to protect new growth
- New chemical class provides different mode of action for better resistance management and rotation options
Application Tips:- Minimum seven-day interval between applications
- Most effective when applied as a preventive treatment or before populations reach damaging levels
- Must be applied with one of the following adjuvants: non-ionic (e.g. Agral 90 or Ag-surf), methylated seed oil (e.g., Hasten), or horticultural oil at 0.2% v/v
- Good coverage is important; product will not move to older leaves, as these leaves are not being fed by the plant’s transport system
- Apply when sufficient leaf tissue is present to allow for maximum uptake of Movento by the plant
- For high insect pressure and for faster knockdown, a follow-up application may be necessary seven days after the initial application

FAST-ACTING AND LONG-LASTING INSECTICIDE WITH A FAVOURABLE SAFETY PROFILE FOR MANY BENEFICIAL INSECTS
Active Ingredients: Flupyradifurone - Group 4D insecticide
Formulation:200 g/L suspension concentrate
Packaging:2 L jugs
Rainfastness:1 hour
Features and Benefits:- The first insecticide in a new chemical sub-class, Group 4D, Sivanto Prime
combines proven Group 4 insecticide efficacy with a favourable safety profile for many beneficial insects
- Provides a wide window of application, strong Integrated Pest Management (IPM) fit and multiple application methodologies
- Minimal application timing restrictions allowing application based on pest thresholds, not plant staging
- Antifeedant properties and quick knockdown of adult pests
- Xylem mobility allows for systemic movement from a soil application to protect new plant growth
- Can be applied as a foliar treatment to all registered crops and as a soil treatment to fruiting vegetables and cucurbit vegetables
- Short PHIs allow early season through late season applications
- Translaminar and local systemic movement allows targeting of insects feeding on the underside of leaves
- Sivanto Prime offers a three-prong ability to mitigate primary and secondary spread of insect-transmitted diseases:
1. Sivanto Prime’s knockdown insecticidal activity quickly kills targeted adult and immature insect pests
2. Sivanto Prime applied either as a foliar or soil treatment causes rapid feeding cessation, within 90 minutes of application, in many sucking insect pests including aphids, psyllids and whiteflies
3. Excellent residual activity of Sivanto Prime provides ongoing control of insect vectors, preventing colonization and additional spread of plant pathogens

Application Tips:- Prior to use of a surfactant with Sivanto Prime, the mixture must be tested in a small area to ensure no risk of phytotoxicity
- Good coverage is important; product will not move to older leaves, as these leaves are not being fed by the plant’s transport system
- Do not make any application of Sivanto Prime insecticide following a soil, in-furrow, or seed treatment application of a Group 4D Insecticide
- Sivanto Prime belongs to the chemical subgroup 4D. The cross-resistance potential between subgroups (i.e. 4A, B and C) is higher than that between different groups, so rotation between subgroups should be avoided where possible
- Registered for aerial application in root and tuber vegetables (Crop subgroups 1-B and 1-C), legume vegetables (Crop group 6) and corn
