Preparation Time : 20 minutes Cooking Time : 15 minutes Serves / Makes : 6 Ingredients 50 gm French Beans,50 gm Carrots,100 gm Peas 2 Potatoes (optional) 6 Garlic cloves (grated),1 teaspoon ginger paste 10 to 15 phudina leaves 3 cloves,1 cinamon piece 1 teaspoon lemon 3 cup Basmati Rice 2 table spoon ghee/butter 8 cup water salt to taste Method 1. Chop Fine all the vegetables 2. Wash the rice 3. Put the pan on stove and add ghee/butter. 4. When it boils add cloves,cinamon, garlic, ginger paster for few seconds. 5. add vegetables and cook for two minutes. 6. add rice and again saute for two minutes. 7. add water. 8. Add salt and lemon juice. 9. add phudina leaves. 10. Cover the pan and slow the stove and allow to cook for 15 minutes. 11. After 15 minutes stop the stove. 12. Garnish it with coariander leaves and serve with curd or any paneer curry. 1 big onion (finely chopped) 1/2 tsp garam masala 1 tomato (finely chopped) 4 green chillies (slit sideways) 1/2 tsp cummin seeds 1/4 cup grated coconut 5 garlic cloves,1/2 inch ginger 2 tablespoons chopped mint leaves,2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves 1-1 1/2 cups vegetables (beans, carrot, potato, cauliflower, etc) 2 cups basmati rice (Soaked for 15 minutes) 4 1/2 - 5 cups water Salt to taste,1 table spoon cashew nuts fried in ghee. Method: 1. In a big pan, heat 5 tablespoons of oil. Add the chopped onion and fry > for 5 minutes. Add the garam masala, and fry for 2 minutes.

Method:

1. In a big pan, heat 5 tablespoons of oil. Add the chopped onion and fry > for 5 minutes. Add the garam masala, and fry for 2 minutes.2. Add the chopped tomato and green chillies and stir for 4-5 minutes.3. Make a thick paste of cummin seeds, coconut, garlic, ginger, and chopped > mint/coriander leaves. Add the paste to the pan and cook for few more minutes.4. Stir in the chopped vegetables and cook for 5-6 minutes.5. Add the rice. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.6. Add water and salt.7. Let it come to a boil.8. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 20 - 25 minutes.9. Garnish with chopped cashews.
