You should have now finished your final piece CONGRATULATIONS!
This is your last task and is a very important part of your project. An Evaluation provi
you with the opportunity to explain your ideas and intentions for practical work and t
make an assessment with hindsight. Your Evaluation needs to be well written and not
long. It must include the main points or concepts that have guided your progress adevelopment.
GUIDELINES:
Discuss your starting point and your initial response to the task or unit. How did you
begin in this unit and what impact has it had on your learning?
Give a brief overview of your development and progress throughout the unit.
Discuss the skills and techniques that you have learnt. Focus on your influences an
inspirations and give reasons for your choices
Explain your final artwork. What were you hoping to communicate in your work and
how does this relate to your investigation and starting point.
What connections can be made throughout this unit. Has the structure of the unit be
useful and helped to complete a final piece that is strong and significant.
Finally evaluate its success. Good points/ areas for improvements.
How could you further your experience or artwork given more time.

FEEDBACK...In addition to your summative tasks, you can expect to receive verbal and written feedback on your progress (Formative) at
regular intervals. It is your responsibility as a student to act upon the advice given to you so that you can make the necessary
modifications to your work.
During the course of a unit there will be a time that you may need help to fully understand what is being asked from you. It
really is within your interest and important that you ask for advice and feedback regularly.
