V2R Projects Pty Ltd is a Queensland based company established to better serve customers with their Projects.

V2R Projects brings together construction teams with extensive experience in mining, defence, and industrial industries. We are expert partners for technically challenging projects, in operational and high compliance environments such as safety, environment, security and hygiene. Our projects experience extends throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory, and includes remote locations. V2R Projects have always had a passion to learn and to improve which leads to better outcomes for the business and ultimately our customers. Our desire to learn and understand our customers’ operations gives us the opportunity to provide project solutions which generate genuine value for them through less disruption to production or better operational efficiencies. Cost is always important but not in isolation of quality, functionality and time. We provide real time project methodologies and costings, as well as alternative construction methodologies for improved functionality, cost and delivery times. V2R recognises that each project is unique – we bring you innovative solutions that deliver outcomes. Whether your procurement method is lump sum, design and construct, construction management or guaranteed maximum price with shared savings – V2R has the experience to deliver the best project outcome.

Part of V2R Projects core business is via Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and Design & Construct engagement. We believe that early engagement with the customer & design team at the earliest possible stage adds significant value. We have access to a motivated and skilled team to work in partnership with the customer to deliver the best returns. ECI through Design & Construction Management promotes a positive business culture and works best when the customer and contractor have an interest in their relationship with repeat business based on trust, honesty and open communication which is often lost as a result of conventional procurement processes.

V2R understands local communities. Our extensive regional & remote experience means we are constantly establishing, building and working

on relationships within those communities.

Our relationships with subcontractors and suppliers throughout the regions we work in build commercial

trust for our customers. In remote and regional locations, our relationships are a key factor in our

ability to successfully deliver projects.

RISK ELIMINATION

Reducing risk means reducing uncertainty and potential costs. V2R works with customers to identify a project’s potential risks. We then work with the project team to create solutions and mitigate risk exposure for all project stakeholders.

Market Access – V2R Projects brings consolidated and efficient access to the

local construction industry. We operate locally and have a combined established long-term relationship with a variety of trade contractors and suppliers throughout Queensland.

Delivery certainty – We are in a position to provide a sustainable, local labour workforce with

trade skills matched to specific projects without a reliance on Recruitment and Labour/Trade Skills Companies that often import labour. The majority of our projects are in existing operational environments where the compliance for safety, environment, security and hygiene will be unique to the customer and the site.

Capability and Cost – V2R Projects has a Tier 1 contractor experience and capability whilst

maintaining the efficiencies of an appropriately resourced local business. Our personnel have major project experience both regionally and in the major city centres, however our overhead structure is geared towards project delivery without the corporate burden. We realise lower trade and supplier costs through very efficient construction delivery and ease of business so we benefit from better trade market pricing.

Local Expertise and Local Industry Knowledge – The combined V2R Projects experience

provides excellent local building knowledge which is applied to the projects we deliver. We understand the most efficient and suitable construction techniques and will provide the best building cost and performance outcomes.

Licencing and members maintain Safety/Environmental/Quality Systems. Our systems are designed to also accommodate our customer’s management systems in existing operating environments.

Performance – The Principals of V2R Projects team have strong reputations locally and

nationally. V2R Projects partners have demonstrated performance in delivering many challenging projects locally and remotely across Queensland and Northern Australia.

Mobilisation and Project Alignment – V2R Projects is locally established across several

regions throughout Queensland so there are no mobilization costs. Being already established in the area we are able to respond immediately in most cases.

Post Construction – V2R Projects can provide long-term post construction services and

support through our ongoing presence in the region.

V2R Projects Directors have a combined operational experience in Queensland of over 50 years and several hundred million dollars in projects. The directors are readily accessible, work in the business and are actively involved in the safe delivery of all of V2R’s projects. We don’t argue over interpretation, know the facts and be fair and reasonable. Don’t fill silence with waffle language that may confuse expectations.

SHARE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Our customers engage us to manage their project risk. Sharing our knowledge and experience helps reduce that risk and this is the real value we provide our customers.

Don’t deliberately watch someone fail or struggle if you can help - you never know when it is you turn to receive a good deed.

Don’t rely on hearsay, get the facts before you act. Just because it has “always been done this way” does not mean it is the best way to do it. Be curious, explore and always ask, what if?

Mackenzie North Mine Infrastructure Area Jellinbah Resources Workshop Facility, Truck Washdown, Fuel Farm and Associated Infrastructure Compressor Station Kestrel Coal New Compressor Station to Supply Compressed Air to the Southern Longwall Development at the Kestrel Mine. Moorvale Booster Pump Station Peabody Resources Foundations and services for a new slurry booster pump station at the Moorvale Mine, Coppabella.

Airfield Drain Covers & Remediation RAAF Amberley Department of Defence Supply and install cover plates for a failing grated drain on the C17 Apron slab at RAAF Base Amberley.

Wide Bay Training Area Pavement Upgrade Department of Defence New asphalt pavements and drainage works at Camp Kerr, Tin Can Bay

Ansol Unloading Facility Hanwha Explosives Works carried out included removal of the existing ammonium nitrate mixing tanks, demolition of the damaged concrete slab and replacing the slab and tanks ready for operation. Upon operation, a new shed over the tanks was designed and installed.

Greenbank Training Area Range Compliance Works Department of Defence Range compliance works to several ranges across Greenbank Training Area including providing new target banks to Open Ranges, relocation of shade structures, design and install new target pits and realign target markers for several ranges. Gallipoli Barracks Helipad Department of Defence Construction of helipad in accordance with CASA design standards. Included bulk earthworks, concrete pavement, acoustic wall, all site services, and illuminated weather indicator.
