AND WHAT A YEAR IT’S BEEN!

You, our committed IBOs across Australia and New Zealand have achieved great success. Many of you have qualified at a higher level, earning more money and being recognised for your success.

At Achievers Vietnam, IBOs were invited to come on board for the Supertrip. At Achievers Bali, we welcomed new qualifiers among you for a fantastic and well-earned business session at the beautiful Intercontinental in Bali. We also welcomed back our leaders who have helped thousands of people live new lives. Just as importantly, we welcomed many among you who are new to the business who have begun a journey to a better life; a life which gives you more money, more time with your family and friends and better solutions with our quality products.

From a business perspective, we have achieved some great things. In 2014, we opened our new, state of the art Sydney

Business Centre and Amway Support Centre. This is part of a $2 million investment in the future of our business to support your growth in 2014 and beyond.We also launched our new ARTISTRY® HYDRA-V range, a collection that travels the world to unlock the secrets of fresh, hydrated skin. We built on our scientific excellence with some of the world’s finest natural ingredients. We also launched our best ever new IBO program, Chart Your Course. Chart Your Course will help our new IBOs earn more money and succeed quicker. It will also reward Sponsors for the important role they play in helping a new IBO succeed. All these initiatives will help our IBOs get on board for the Supertrip!

With our strong success and foundations laid in 2014, we are very excited about what 2015 will bring. We should also look back with confidence on what we have achieved to date. As Dr Sam continues to inspire audiences worldwide on the Nutrilite* 80th Anniversary Colour Your Story Tour, we are thankful that we were fortunate enough to have him visit, fleeting though it was.Dr Sam was joined on stage by his beautiful wife Francesca and Nutrilite scientist Dr Kevin Gellenbeck, all of whom kept audiences captivated. Dr Sam's personal stories of his father Carl Rehnborg's amazing and pioneering work was fascinating and thoroughly entertaining as was the story of how the Nutrilite brand became part of the Amway family.

The powerful impact of sustainable farming practices and support of the local communities across the Nutrilite Farms was illustrated in a story Dr Sam shared about a visit the President of Mexico made to the Nutrilite Farm in El Petacal, Mexico. At the end of the visit he was both thankful and impressed, describing the site as a "win-win" situation.

It's a win for the land. It's a win for the local community. It is easy to see why Nutrilite is the world's number one brand of vitamins and dietary supplements as Dr Sam talked about the global manufacturing expansion, new facilities and the cutting edge research and development work that is being undertaken by a very talented and experienced group of scientists and researchers.

And, to wrap up what was already a night to remember, Dr Sam reminded us all that while we should set our dreams high and stretch one hand up to reach for the stars, we should always remember to hold our other hand open to help and support those behind us.

But then he was shown a different future. “A fortune teller told me I would own three large houses. I became really excited and began searching for opportunities to realise this dream. A friend invited me to an Amway open meeting and then it hit me. This was the opportunity I was looking for!”

Others weren’t so convinced. “In my second month, I resigned from the restaurant to become a full time IBO, with the goal of reaching Diamond within six years. That evening, twenty friends came to visit. My sister had asked them to persuade me to give up Amway. They gave me two options: give up Amway and return to being a chef, or stay with Amway and lose their friendship.”

Things improved after Jack signed up six IBOs. “My sister had a change of heart and decided to join. After that, several of my University colleagues and my English class friends also joined Amway.

business management. Jack also worked part time in a restaurant, starting as the dishwasher and eventually becoming a chef. “I really wanted to become a restaurant owner. However, I had neither the money nor the ability.”

OIt was through these groups our business extended to China where we now have hundreds of IBOs with Diamond and 19 with Founders' Council qualifications.

After a year, I reached Silver. After two, I reached Pearl. It took a little over three years to become Emerald and in my fifth year I reached Diamond — one year early.”

Ying also came to Australia as a student in 1988, and worked part-time to finance her studies before discovering the Amway opportunity. Ying’s group was part of Jack’s team. “I was in charge of market planning and she promoted products with free beauty demonstrations. We became close friends, then a couple, and eventually married. Always together, always a team, happy and content.”

Jack insists his love for the products makes it easier. “If I don’t like something, I can’t force others to like it. If you

don’t use the product, you cannot share your experience,” he says. “My favourite product is still the Amway Cookware. The evening before Cookware launched in China, I gave demonstration training to distributors. They all wanted the cookware for themselves, to better promote it once the product launched. By planning ahead I can boost our sales whenever there’s a new product launch.”

Jack’s journey began when a fortune-teller promised three houses. Today, Jack and Ying have so much more. Besides their luxury home on the harbourside at Mosman in Sydney, Amway has financially enabled Jack and Ying to purchase a vineyard in the Hunter Valley and a ski resort in China. Jacks latest proposed venture is a marina development in China.

And after 25 years, Jack and Ying qualified Crown Ambassador in China. They were very proud to be welcomed on stage by Rich DeVos and warmly applauded by the entire Founders' Council audience. Now at the next Founders' Council event in 2015, Jack and Ying will again be applauded for achieving Crown Ambassador qualification status, this time in their Australian business.

Mae and Marlo emigrated from the Philippines to New Zealand twelve years ago. Marlo works as a croupier, while Mae is a part time early childhood teacher. Working part time allows her to raise their four children aged between 7 and 15, including an 11-year-old boy with Autism.

Marlo began searching for new income opportunities to support his growing family. He also needed to send money home to the Philippines as his mother was sick. “A friend referred Marlo to his upline,” explains Mae. “After meeting them, Marlo asked to join the business there and then.” Eagerness aside, the couple did do more research and realised they really wanted to be associated with Amway.

“Amway affords Mae the freedom to work part time, because she loves inspiring young minds to discover learning,” says Marlo. “Plus, we live a life of significance, assisting other people to reach their dreams of health, wealth and personal development.”

Two things keep the couple focused on their goal

of financial freedom. “Firstly, our business allows us to provide for our children and extended family. Our children see us overcome challenges and are inspired to dream and work towards a great life. Secondly, we’re on a mission to give others hope for better health and financial security.”

“Everything starts out as a seed. Hope, love, joy, success, work — they all start small,” says Mae. “But fear, self-doubt, laziness, negativity and inactivity can also start small. The question is: which seeds would you like to cultivate and grow? Don’t let anybody or any circumstances steal your dreams. Most people resist change because they focus on what they might lose rather than what they will gain. So embrace the changes you need to undertake to pursue your dreams.”

Marlo and Mae are focused on growth as they strengthen their existing teams and build new teams in both the local and global markets. “We’re determined to inspire more people to live a life of significance.”

Joyce and Patrick are both qualified computer engineers from Thailand, but regular employment was never for them. Joyce was 19 and still at university when the couple ran their first business together, exporting hydroponic vegetables. “Owning a business is more stressful than being an employee,” says Joyce. “But it’s better.” Joyce discovered Amway during her third year at university. “My friend joined, so I was curious. I didn’t think it was something young people did,” she says. “But he was a very good friend and very smart so I decided to find out more. I discovered an interesting company with a good philosophy and very clear goals.”

“I was a computer engineer, so this was very new for me. I needed time to learn and to really understand what Amway is. Luckily, I have a learning attitude. I studied a lot, I practised a lot and that helped me to overcome the challenging first year.”

Joyce was already using the ATMOSPHERE® Air Purifier before becoming an IBO, and loves it. “I’ve suffered from allergies for 21 years and tried many

things that didn’t work. But Amway’s Air Purifier really helped me and I became very excited about the product.”

“I’m not a good seller,” admits Joyce, “but I love Amway products and believe the best tip is to be helpful. I think about how an Amway product can solve their problem, or help them to achieve a better quality of life. It’s not about selling. It’s about sharing.”

Patrick is also very excited about the impending launch of the ARTISTRY® men’s range in 2015.

Jonathan & Michelle LockleyIt was only a little over a year ago that Jonathan and Michelle were recognised for their Ruby achievement. The couple migrated to Australia from New Zealand in 2001 and started their Amway business only 3 years ago.

Rolando & Elenita RinenRolando and Elenita both studied Business Management in the Philippines before migrating to New Zealand in 2001. Rolando is a Manufacturing Head for an award-winning nanofibre production company. Elenita worked as an Accounts Administrator, but was diagnosed with a brain tumour, undergoing major surgeries in 2009 and 2010.

Understandably, following this time the family decided to focus on adopting a much healthier lifestyle and say the Amway Catalogue became their ‘healthy living Bible!’

“Aside from big ticket items, such as eSpring®, iCook® and Atmosphere®, it’s the NUTRIWAY® DOUBLE-X, Omega-3 and

Glucosamine for both of us,” says Elenita.

Elenita’s treatment and recovery placed a strain on the family budget, with Rolando working double time. The need for financial security led to the couple setting up their Amway business in February 2013. “The extra income helped so much. And we qualified for trips to Melbourne and Bali, so we feel blessed!”

Bing Li Gao & Jing ZhangIn China, Bing Li and Jing both worked as research academics. But when they migrated to New Zealand with their two children, language difficulties prompted a career change. Bing Li got a job in the building industry and Jing became a baker in a supermarket.
