“Using ICT in the English Lessons”

e-Teaching and Learning SIG

.We are e-TL SIG members since we consider that the

use of technology while learning or teaching is

crucial in order to communicate with each other. We

cannot deny that we are immersed in a digital era

and nowadays we, as students or teachers, need to

get acquainted with new technologies. New

technologies help us to build knowledge

collaboratively.

.As coordinators of this SIG our role is merely

organizational. Every member of the SIG has an active

role so that meetings can be carried out once a month.

Topics about the members’ interests and presenters

are suggested or chosen during the meetings.

Within the e-TL SIG we share our experiences on the

uses of ICT and Education. This SIG has helped us

grow as teachers by building the necessary knowledge

to accomplish teaching and learning of the 21st

century through the use of different tools:
