Town Hall Intent

1. Celebrate the approval of our strategic plan!

2. Come together as a university community to mark this important transition from articulating our strategic direction to collectively realizing it!

3. Provide a brief refresh of the strategic planning process and content of the plan.

4. Share some of the bigger picture of the approval process for the plan and aspects of the larger higher education “ecosystem” in which we operate.

5. Lay out some of our next steps and implementation infrastructure we will be putting in place.

6. Get feedback and advice from this group as we move in a deliberate and collective way into implementation.

Collective Sensing Into Our Implementation

Please label your flipchart with your Bold Goal area.

1.Resistance. What are the 2-3 areas you anticipate resistance as we implement this Bold Goal from the perspectives of faculty, staff, students and community members?

2.Traction. What are the 2-3 areas you expect energy and excitement? Where are the bright spots we can build from?

3.Advice. What other advice would you offer to the Implementation Steering Committee—either related to your Bold Goal or around implementation generally?

4.Volunteers. Write your name on the flip chart if you would like to be considered for participation on the Bold Goal Implementation Team.
