    thismanualcarefullybeforemounting thesystemand it isnotallowed to takeanyoperationson

    UPSbefore finishing readingall safety instructionandoperation instruction.Thismanualcontains

    significant information,pleaseobey allwarningsandoperation instructions statedby themanual

    andmachine,andthemanualshallbekeptwell.

    designedbyfulldigitalcontroltechnology.Thedesignofunitbreaksconventionaldesignthoughtof

    towertypemachine,replacedbyadvancedmodulardesignideawhichcanensurecompactnessof

    layoutandimprovereliabilityoftheunit.Electricalperformanceof900II1060KVA(3/3)seriesis

    advantageousandprotectionofsoftwareandhardwareofitisperfect.Itisapplicablefordifferent

    powergridandcansupplysafeandreliablepowerfordifferentloads.

    1.2SystemStructure

    Componentsofthesystemmainlyinclude:LCDdisplayscreen,communicationport,power

    module,charger,battery(optional),inputbreaker,outputbreaker,maintenancebypassbreaker,

    1.3.2Batterymode

    Theworkingmode that battery power is boosted through battery booster circuit, and then

    suppliedtoloadthroughinvertercircuitiscalledbatterymode.Whenmainpowerfaultoccurs,the

    systemwillswitchtobatterymodeautomaticallyandpowersupplyforloadisnotinterrupted.When

    main power recoveries, the system will switch to main power mode automatically without any

    manualoperationandpowersupplyforloadisnotinterrupted.Switchingtimeofmainpowermode

    andbatterymodeis0ms.

    IfitneedstomaintainorrepairtheUPS,itcanclosethemanualbypassswitchtoswitchtheUPS

    tothesideofmaintenancebypassandthepowersupplyforloadisnotinterrupted.Inthatcase,the

    mainpowerwillnotpasstheinternalcomponentsofmachinebutconnecttheinputterminaland

    Weightcapabilityoffloortomachineandbatterygroupshallbeconsideredbeforemounting.

    2.3InstallationofUPS

    1.PutUPSmachineinspecificlocation.

    LocationofplacingtheUPSshallbeproperinordertoensuresafetyapplicationofUPS.Itshall

    beplacedinplacewithcleanenvironmentwithoutmoisture,flammablegas,flammableliquidor

    corrosivematerialandsunshine.Usercanputitonassignedlocationwithassistantofhumanforce

    orequipmentandshallpayattentiontospacesbetweenUPSandsurroundingthingswhenmounting

    sothatitishelpfulforventilationandheatdissipation.Minimumspaceisshowninfigure2.7(unit:

    5.1UPSRepairingandMaintenance

    5.1.1PowerandfeaturesofloadshallbeconsideredwhenusingUPS

    RatedoutputpowerofUPSisthekeyparametertoexpresshowmuchpowerloadtheproduct

    candrive, it changes alongwith alteration of load power factor, for example, 1 KVAUPSmaybe

    cannotdrive1KVAload.UPSshallnotbeunderfullloadconditioninordertoprolongworkinglifeof

    UPS.Loadcapabilityof standbyUPS shallbe6070 of ratedpower,and thatofonlineUPS

    shallbe7080 ofratedpower.Atthesametime,theUPSshallnotworkunderoverunder

    loadingconditionforalongtime.

    5.1.2EnsureinductionstrokeprotectionofUPS

    Lightening stroke is the natural enemy of all electrical equipments, so it must ensure the

    effective shielding and groundprotectionofUPS against lightening stroke. Lightening strokemay

    causeinductivehighpotentialpulseduetoelectromagneticinduction.Thehighpotentialpulsemay

    enter into the UPS along with power line or communication line, while there are so many

    microelectronicdevices suchasCMOS integratedcircuitmodulesandCPUused forcontrol in the

    UPSwhichareverysensitivetoelectromagneticpulseoflightening,therefore,thedevicesarevery

    easytobedamaged.AlthoughourUPShaseffectiveshieldingandgoodprotectiongroundmeasure,

    user still needs to adopt lightening protection and overvoltage protection for power line and

    communicationline(suchasremotemonitoringsingleline).

    5.1.3Notesforusing,repairingandmaintenance

    ItmustobeytheproductintroductionwhenusingUPS.Relatedstipulationsinusingmanualcanensureallfiringlines,zerolines,andearthlinesmeetrequirements,sousershallnotchangeits

    orderwithoutallowance.

    Anyoperation shall strictly complywith correctorderofpoweron andoff. It shall avoidexcessive fluctuationofvoltageoutputofUPScausedbysudden increasingorreducingof loadso

    thattheUPScannotworkinnormal.

    It isstrictlyforbiddentopoweronandofftheUPSfrequently.Itrequiresfor30saftertheUPSispoweredoffandbeforestartingitagain,otherwise,faultmayoccurredforUPS. Itisforbiddentooperateunderoverload.MaximumstartingloadofUPSshallbecontrolledwithin80%,andtheinvertertubemaybedamagedunder invertercondition ifit isoperatedunder

    overloadcondition.Experienceproves that thebestoperationmode is tocontrol the loadwithin

    30~60%ofratedoutputpowerformostUPSpowers.

    Discharging requirement of battery: in general, the UPS is equipped with protectionmeasures for discharging of battery, but the battery will recover to certain voltage after it is

    discharged so that the protection is powered off, and it is not allowed to restart the machine,

    otherwise, itmaycauseoverdischargingofbattery.Thebattery shallbeusednormallyafter it is

    recharged.

    FornewboughtUPS (or forUPSstored fora longtime), itonlycanbeoperatedafterthebatteryischarged.Otherwise,thestandbytimewillnotbeensured.

    ForUPSwithoutpoweroff for a long time, itsbattery shallbedischarged forevery3~6monthsandthenrechargedagain.Itcanprolongtheworkinglifeofbatterybythisway.

    For UPS stored for a long time, it shall be started and charged for every 3~6 months,otherwise,itmaydamagethehostandbatteryofUPS. ItshallmaintaintheUPSperiodically.Cleandustinsidethemachine,measurethevoltageofbatterygroup,checkrunningoffans,andinspectandadjustsystemparametersofUPS.

    5.1.4Batterymanagement

    This system allows the charging system to bewith high liability andwithouthigh frequency

    clutterwhichcanavoideffectofhighfrequencywavetobatterylife;avoidoverheatofbatterywhen

    charging,andprolongworkinglifeofbattery.

    User can set the battery parameter by monitoring display screen (battery management

    parametermustbesetbyprofessionalpersonal,pleasenotifythecustomerservicepersonalifuser

    needs to change theseparameters),and the system can take intelligentmanagement forbattery

    accordingtousersetandactualstatusofbatterygroup.

    Chargemodeofthisseriesofproductssystemisthreestagecharge:

    Stage1:recharge90%capabilityofbattery

    Chargewithequalizingchargingvoltageandmaximumchargingcurrent;

    Stage2:rechargethebalance10%capabilityofbattery

    Turntostage2toequalizingchargefor1minuteandfloatingchargefor1minutewhenvoltage

    reachesto13.85Vofeverybattery.

    Stage3:Maintainbatterycapability

    Itwillswitchtostage3afteritcontinuesfor360cycleinstage2andchargethebatterywith

    floatingchargesotatthebatteryquantitycanbemaintainedmorethan99%.

    Batterygroupof900II1060KseriesproductissharedbyallmodulesinUPS(includingcharging

    and discharging). It can use one group of battery or several groups of batteries to increase the

    standbytimeofsystemaccordingtousersrequirement.

    Tips: itmust takeoffmetalobjects suchas ringandwatchbefore replacing thebattery,use

    screwdriverwith insulatedhandle,donotputany toolorothermetalobjecton thebattery. It is

    normalphenomenontoappearsmallsparkatjointwhenconnectingthebattery,butitwillnotcause

    anyharmtopersonalsafetyandUPS.Donotcauseshortcircuitorreverseconnectiononpositive

    andnegativeofbattery.

    5.2Troubleshooting
