1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 Basic requirements

For using the service Allianz E-bank you have to complete simultaneously the following

conditions:

To have rights to accounts in Allianz Bank Bulgaria;

To use one of the following internet browsers:

Internet Explorer (version 7 or higher);

Mozilla Firefox (version 3.0 or higher);

1.2 Registration for using the service Allianz E-bank

Before describing the registration process in Allianz E-bank an important clarification must

be made. This clarification is about the difference between a Client and a User in Allianz E-

bank.

There are two types of Clients in Allianz E-bank: Private Individuals and Legal Entities;

The Users in Allianz E-bank are persons who are registered in Allianz E-bank.

The difference between Client and User is as follows:

The Private Individual is Client and the person who represents the Private

Individual, is User.

The Legal Entity is Client and the persons who represent the Legal Entity, are Users.

The registration process for the service Allianz E-bank includes the following actions:

Sending an online registration request for using the service Allianz E-bank

(https://remote.bank.allianz.bg/EBank/xslt/reg.xml). In the online request must be

filled in information about:

ID Number of the Client;

Personal/Company name;

Client’s accounts in Allianz Bank Bulgaria – if the Client has account in Allianz

Bank Bulgaria, the IBAN must be filled in to the proper section Accounts. In

case the Client doesn’t have account in Allianz Bank Bulgaria (the Bank) the

section Accounts must be left empty. When the Client visits Allianz Bank

Bulgaria’s location for signing the Contract for Internet Banking it will be

necessary for the Client to open account in the Bank before signing the

Contract.

The Users are procurators of the Client who have rights for operations with

the the Client’s accounts.

Allianz E-bank User Manual Guide – ACCESS and CERTIFICATES

4

After sending the online registration request to the Bank the Client has to visit the

most convenient for him/her location of Allianz Bank Bulgaria for signing Contract for

Internet Banking.

The Client Private Individual has to identify him/herself when he/she visits the

Bank’s location.

The legal procurator of the Client Legal Entity has to present company’s documents

to the Bank (company articles, contract of incorporation, constituent act, all

adjudjements and etc) and also signature specimens of the persons who have rights

for operations with the accounts.

To receive access to Allianz E-bank every Client has to register at least one User.

For Private Individual the data for the first User will be taken from the Private

Individual’s personal data.

For Legal Entity it is necessary to be filled in to online registration request the personal

data of all Users who will have rights for operations with the company’s accounts.

The Users of Allianz E-bank can be Allianz Bank Bulgaria’s clients but also their

procurators as well.

When the Client (who has sent online registration request to the Bank) visits Bank’s

location for signing the Contract, the following action must be taken:

For registering each one of the pointed in the registration request Users the

account holder has to determinate the user’s role with his/her rights for

operations with the Client’s accounts. By setting this role the account holder

declares the rights that Users will have for each account. One single User can

have different roles for the different accounts.

If there is a User for who it is not declared a role for accounst’s rights, the

User will not be able to make payments from the account through Allianz

E-bank!

Every Client can register one or more accounts in Allianz E-bank. Two Clients

can register the same account only if the Clients are both Private Individuals

and and they are both holders of the account. Да проверим дали

съществува продукта?

In case there are Private Individuals who want to register one joint account

for which every of the holders of the account has right to operate with the

whole amount of the account by his/her own (by the force of the Contract for

Internet Banking) – then every of the holders of the account has to fill in and

send by his/her own the online registration request for the service Allianz E-

bank.

Allianz E-bank User Manual Guide – ACCESS and CERTIFICATES

5

In case there are Private Individuals who want to register one joint account

for which even one of the holders of the account has no right to operate

with the whole amount of the account by his/her own (by the force of the

Contract for Internet Banking) – then every of the holders has to fill in and

send one common online registration request for the service Allianz E-bank.

In this case will be declared the rights and the limits for each Cleint to the

joint account.

In case there are Private Individuals who want to register one joint account

for which only one of the Clients will not have right to operate with the

whole amount of the account by his/her own (by the force of the Contract for

Internet Banking) - then the online registration request for the service

Allianz E-bank will be send only by the Client who will have the right to

operate with thе whole amount of the account.

If the Client is Legal Entity then the holder of account is only one. Every

account of the Legal Entity which is registered in Allianz E-bank will be

accessible only for the Users with proper rights.

The Client has to remember the password which will be filled in to the online

registration request. This password will be used for a first time access to the system

and the password will be the same for all Users who are registered to the Client. This

password for first time access will have to be changed by the Users when they try to

access Allianz E-bank for a first time. This way every User will have single username

and single password (for more details see 2.3 Changing first time access’s

password).

When each User changes his/her first time access’s password (following the

instructions in 2.3 Changing first time access’s password) he/she will be able to

enter Allianz E-bank.

1.3 Electronic certificates – removed functionality

By decision of the Manegement Board of Allianz Bank Bulgaria the functionality is

removed!

The electronic certificate is digital-code statement issued by a specific organization which

purpose is for authentication which can be checked by electronic way. The electronic

certificates which are used for signing electronic documents are called “electronic

signatures”. If the electronic certificate is issued by a Certificated Service Provider than the

electronic certificate is called Universal Electronic Signature.

The User will be able to sign documents in Allianz E-bank by using only one of the two

possible electronic certificates:

Electronic certificate for signing electronic documents in Allianz E-bank which is

issued by Allianz Bank Bulgaria.

Universal Electronic Signature issued by Certificated Service Provider.

The difference between the two types of electronic certificates is as follows:

The electronic certificate issued by Allianz Bank Bulgaria can be used only for signing documents (transfers) ordered through Allianz E-bank system. The Universal Electronic Signature issued by Certificated Service Provider can be used both for signing documents (transfers) ordered by Allianz E-bank but also for signing agreements (contracts) connected with Allianz E-bank , and for electronic commerce, personal and company authenticaton, electronic correspondence, electronic signature of statements to/from government authorities and municipality authorities – all this means that the Universal Electronic Signature has wider usage.

The term of validity for each of the electronic certificates is as follows:

For the electronic certificate issued by Allianz Bank Bulgaria– it’s 3 years. For the Universal Electronic Signature issued by Certification Service Provider – it’s 1

year. In case that Allianz E-bank will be used only for inquiries (not for signing

documents(transfers)) then it is not necessary the usage of electronic certificate! For Users who use electronic certificate their authentication when they log in Allianz E-bank is both username, password and the electronic certificate. For Users who do not have electronic certificate the authentication when they log in Allianz E-bank is only with username and password.

1.4 Token device

The token device is a hardware device which generates one time codes. A one time code

generated by a token device is valid for a short amount of time and is used in Allianz E-bank

for authentication purposes during log in (if the user has activated the option to log in only

with token device) or document signing.

The user authentication is done by entering a one time password. A one time password

consists of the following elements:

Token PIN – the token PIN is set up by the user and consists of 4 symbols (numbers

and/or capital letters from A to F). The token PIN is known only to the user. „Allianz

Bank Bulgaria” AD keeps the token PIN in an encrypted form which allows it to check

if the provided one time password is created with a valid PIN but not to access or

change it.

One time code generated by a token device – the one time code is displayed on the

token screen after the button has been pressed. The one time code consists of 4

numbers and is valid for a short amount of time. Each token device generates unique

one time codes. A special algorithm allows Allianz Bank Bulgara to check if the

provided one time password is correct.

The one time password is created by writing down the token PIN followed by and written

together with the one time code generated by the token device.

The user can use the token device for authentication purposes in Allianz E-bank in the

following cases:

At log in into Allianz E-bank – if the user activates the option to log in only with token

device Allianz E-bank will not allow access unless a valid one time password has been

provided:

Allianz E-bank User Manual Guide – ACCESS and CERTIFICATES

8

If you have activated the option to log in only with token device you will be prompted

for one time password when you change your client as well:

When signing documents in Allianz E-bank – when you sign a document the system

will ask you to enter a valid one time password:

If you do not wish to order payments in Allianz E-bank, you will not have to use a token

device.

This section makes a few clarifications:

There is a difference between Digital Root Certificate (RBCA 2007, which

was described in section 1.4.3) and Signature Certificate (which will be

described in this section).

Digital Root Certificate RBCA2007 is needed for successful usage of the

Signature Cedrtificates issued by Allianz Bank Bulgaria. As it was already

mentioned the Digital Root Certificate can be found in the section Trusted

Root certification Authorities in the window Certificates.

The Signature Certificate, placed in section Personal in the window

Certificates, is the certificate used for signing documents (transfers) through

Allianz E-bank. The Signature Certificate is the private key which is placed in

your internet browser and only you have access and no one else. The

Signature Certificate is used for transferring encrypted data between your

computer and the Bank’s server. The Bank has no access to your private key

(Signature Certificate).

You have to check whether your Signature Certificate (your private key) is imported

in your browser. You can check it by completing the next steps:

one client only or for all clients you have been granted access to. If you are given access to a new

client at a later time you can chose to register your token device for this client as well. If you access

a client for which you have been granted access to with the right to sign payments and you have

2.7 Register certificate – removed functionality

By decision of the Manegement Board of Allianz Bank Bulgaria the functionality is removed!

2.7.1 Register Signature Certificate

Registration of the certificate is necessary when you are registered as a User to

several Clients. As a User you can have rights to accounts which are registered to

Private Individual and accounts which are registered to Legal Entity.

For exmple:

User: Nikolay Krasimirov Atanaschev Client: Nikolay Krasimirov Atanaschev (the

Client is Private Individual)

and also

Allianz E-bank User Manual Guide – ACCESS and CERTIFICATES

53

User: Nikolay Krasimirov Atanaschev Client: Allianz Bank Bulgaria (the Client is

Legal Entity)

In this example the User is registered to have rights to both Private Individual’s and

Legal Entity’s accounts (there is no limit of the number of the Clients -Private

Individuals or Legal Entities - to which you have rights).

In case the User and the Client is the same person (this is possible only when the

Client is Private Individual) then the procedure of issuing the certificate is identical

with the procedure of registerring the certificate (the certificate will be registered

automatically). In this case you don’t have to register the certificate.

! For all your registrations as a User to different Clients you will use only one certificate

If you want to use the issued certificate for all your registrations as a User registered

to different Clients you have to register your certificate to every single Client.

In case you are a User registered to several different Clients there are two possible

ways for action:

You can wait the end of the day (the day in which the certificate was issued) and the system automatically will register the certificate to all your existing registrations as a User to different Clients. In this case you don’t have to register the certififiate to every single Client.

In case you have to register the certificate as soon as possible (if you must do an urgent money transfer through Allianz E-bank) you have to take the following steps:

You log in Allianz E-bank with your username and password and choose from the dropping menu (the menu on the top right side of your screen) the Client to which you want to register the issued certificate.

After you have chosen a Client for which the certificate is still not

registered, you have to choose menu Settings in your internet banking/ submenu Register certificate. You have to put a tick and to click on the button Register.
