Nearly Every Patient Gets Ozone

• CFS – mitochondrial dysfunction – virus/fungus/bacteria/parasite

• Cancer

• Athletic Performance – Anti-aging

• GI problems

• Wound care

• Dental Infections

• Macular Degeneration

• Pain – Prolozone

Why? Because……

• “Ultimately, it is a decrease in oxygen utilization that is responsible for the beginnings of degenerative disease, and the very process of aging itself.”

• And OZONE can be a critical factor in reversing that.

From Principles and Applications of Ozone Therapy, A Practical Clinical Guideline for Physicians

Frank Shallenberger MD, HMD, ABBAM

Decreased O2 Utilization Leads to:

• Decreased anti-oxidant buffering AND

• Increased ROS production

• Leads to:

• MITOCHONDRIAL DECAY that leads to

• AGING AND DEGENERATIVE DISEASE

Most Patients Have The Following Factors That Block O2 Utilization

1. Genetic SNIPs –e.g. Methylation defects

2. Nutritional deficiencies –EAA, EFA, Vit/Min

3. Toxin Load

4. Infections

5. Hormonal deficiencies

CORRECT THESE FOR OPTIMUM RESULTS

What Does Ozone Do? Kills bad stuff….

• Inactivates bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa by:

• Disrupting the integrity of bacterial cell envelope through oxidation of the phospholipids and lipoproteins.

• Damaging the viral capsid by disrupting virus-to-cell contact with peroxidation.

• Inhibiting cell growth at certain stages in fungi

• (V. Bocci & R. Viebahn)

What Does Ozone Do? Restores flow……

• Enhances Circulation by:

• Reducing clumping of red cells and restoring their flexibility and oxygen carrying ability.

• Increasing arterial oxygen partial pressure and reducing viscosity leading to better tissue oxygenation

• Oxidizing plaque in arteries allowing removal of the breakdown products.

What Does Ozone Do? Oxygenates…..

• Stimulates oxygen metabolism by:

• Increasing red blood cell glycolysis rate → stimulation of 2,3-diphosphoglycerate

• (2,3-DPG) → increase of oxygen released to tissues.

• Activating Krebs cycle by enhancing oxidative carboxylation of pyruvate → stimulating production of ATP.

What Does Ozone Do? Enzyme activation…

• Stimulates of the production of free radical scavenging enzymes and cell wall protectors: Glutathione Peroxidase, Catalase, and Superoxide Dismutase.

• Dissolution of malignant tumors: Ozone inhibits tumor metabolism, oxidizes the outer lipid layer of malignant cells and destroys them through cell lysis.

What Does Ozone Do? Activates cells and DNA• Induces cytokines in monocytes and lymphocytes)

• H2O2 crosses the cell membrane and activates the cytoplasmic gene-regulatory nuclear factor kappa B, which results in the transcription of mRNAs of several cytokines {interleukins (IL 1,2,4,6,8,10), tumor necrosis factor (TNF-∝) and interferons (IFN β and γ)}. (V. Bocci 2002)

The StrongestOXIDANTS

1. FLUORINE- rxns leave toxic byproducts

2. PERSULFATE- rxns leave toxic byproducts

3. OZONE- rxns leave O2, H2O, peroxides and lipoperoxides – “The clean killer!”

Important Aspect to Consider

Bacteria, Virus, Fungi, Parasites and free

radicals are all positively charged

Ozone is negatively charged

Properties of Ozone

In Vitro Powerful Oxidizer

–Kills bacteria, fungi and viruses at lower concentrations than chlorine (1 molecule of ozone = 3,000 to 10,000 molecules of chlorine) AND kills 3500 times faster than chlorine.

Also oxidizes phenolics (poisonous compounds of methanol and benzene), pesticides, detergents, chemical manufacturing wastes and aromatic compounds more rapidly and effectively than chlorine, yet WITHOUTchlorine’s harmful residues (Trihalomethanes, etc.).

Silver Hydrosol

Silver Hydrosol Properties:Purity, Particle Size and Energy• Positively charged silver nanoparticles (Ag(n)

1+) 96%+.

• Particles measured on the nano/pico-scale.

• Uniform dispersion.

• Unprecedented surface area means that you can achieve with microgram doses what even gram doses of drugs cannot – without toxicity!

• At only 23 parts per million (ppm), there may be over 300,000,000 particles of active silver in every drop of pharmaceutical-grade purified water (H2O).

The Safety and Benefits of Direct Intravenous Ozone Therapy (DIV)Howard F. Robins, D.P.M. Founding member AAO, IAOHD

• Abstract: Direct Intravenous Ozone Therapy (DIV) has been a method of treating diseases and conditions for many years. Internationally this method has been discouraged due to supposed risks and lack of benefits. Contrary to this opinion held by many, there is no scientific support of these allegations as there is no apparent record of injuries caused by this method or proven lack of benefits, just supposition, rumors and “medical urban myths”. In fact, over the last 17 years DIV has been performed over 150,000 times at the clinic with virtually no adverse reactions of any consequence. The supposed criticisms are either academic belief that are contrary to clinical experience, or at best, based on improper method of administration elsewhere. This paper will discuss the supposed risks and show through clinical experience the fallacies and misunderstandings that exist along with the benefits of the Robins Method Protocol for DIV compared to Major Autohemotherapy (MAH).

Direct Ozone Protocol

• We start with 20 gamma 20 cc via 27 g needle or PICC.

• Then increase by 20 cc at 20 gamma until 60 cc of gas reached or saturation.

• Then increase by 10 gamma/ 60 cc of each treatment until 55 gamma and 60 cc.

• Then we hold them there for a week to make sure they are stable.

• If so, we then start increasing to a total of 120 cc (as 60 cc ozone/1000 glutathione/ 60 cc ozone), based on their symptoms and tolerance.

• Usually after 60 cc we give 1000 mg of glutathione.

• For Lyme patients I do a treatment 5 days a week and in some twice a day (10) if they can take it without too much Herx.

• Most patients will feel well within 20-40 DIV treatments.

• We do Argentin 23 IV 3x per week with this.

• A daily Myer’s cocktail is also given.
