As his instructor, I got to know him in 2015 in my Elements of Accounting I class. During the semester, he demonstrated his ability in handling challenging accounting issues, his innate curiosity and strong learning motivation, and team work skills. In my Fall 2015 class, Jason's technical knowledge was among the top 5% in the class. He demonstrated a genuine interest in the material, and excelled in understanding the more technical aspects of the course. Whenever I gave students challenging questions, no doubt, Jason was the one who always wanted to take the challenges. Through active participation in in-class discussions, he obtained better understanding of the accounting process, financial statements and ratio analysis. In addition to superior technical knowledge, he has demonstrated to me an ability to work within an organizational team. Jason' team was consistently prepared for class, and exhibited excellent performance during group works. Jason took on a leadership position within the team, and often led the discussion within class. For these reasons, I strongly recommend him for the internship at US Bank. As a professor of accounting, I work with students with a variety of skills-technical and interpersonal, analytical and communicative. Jason's skill set is among the best I have ever experienced here at NDSU, and has an inherent curiosity that is difficult to find. This background makes him well-prepared for the rigors of your summer internship program.

Re: Summer Internship

It is my pleasure to write this recommendation letter for Jason Guo who is applying the summer internship at US Bank.
