4Interventions on EE01 corner chimney
Slide# : 3
l On September 23rd – 24th the following interventions have been performed on the EE01 corner chimneys: ü The mini-crates on EE01T and EE01M have been removed ü The flanges on EE01M and EE01T have been opened, together with the
flange on the top of the tower chimney to allow the movement/positioning of the internal cables
ü The cables on EE01M have been shortened while in EE01T the cables have not been disconnected from the DBB
ü Connectivity and vertical slice tests (including TP measurements) have been performed before the final closure of the flanges
ü The screw holes on the supports of the mini-crates have been also enlarged in order to allow a better mechanical installation of the mini-crate and a better insertion of the boards

4Interventions on EW01 corner chimney - 1
Slide# : 6
l On September 24th – 25th the following interventions have been performed on the EW01 corner chimneys: ü The mini-crates on EW01T and EW01M have been removed to enlarge the
screw holes on the supports and then reinstalled ü The flanges have not been opened, so at the end of the intervention only
the vertical slice tests have been performed to evaluate the noise conditions
l At the end of the intervention we notice a big increase of the noise on the EW01T, originated by the cryo box installed on the rack nearest to the EW01 chimney

EW01M: after the intervention on the mini-crate
l At the end of the intervention on the EW01M mini-crate we also notice an increase of the noise level on the channels corresponding to the boards on the slot 0 and 3: even restoring the starting situation in the mini-crate the level of the noise did not change ü The slot 3 has been fixed replacing the board ü The noise in slot 0 (master board) has been improved connecting the
additional ground from the power supply to the mini-crate

TTLink Signal
Ø The TTLink (Timing and Trigger Link) is used to distribute the sampling clock and a set of real time commands to all the TPC readout electronics boards (A2795).
Ø The TTLink is a 1 wire serial bus which sends a 10 MHz clock with a modulated duty cycle
Ø TT-Link input on the board (A2795) : LEMO connector, TTL standard, Zin=50Ω.
TTLink Fan out Board Schematic
Ø 24 outputs, plus some spares. LEMO connectors PCB style. Ø Power supply requirement: 3V, >3A Ø Recommend using: RSP-150-3.3 or equivalent
TTLink Connections
4TTLink fan out array
Ø Six units of 1 to 26 fan out has been built and delivered by Colorado group.
Ø They passed tests on bench and approved. Ø They are deployed on top of the two T300 according to the previous
scheme. Ø Two inputs to the two groups, for each T300, will be provided by two
SPEXI outputs.
Ø During the next intervention on the DAQ electronics the fan out will be carefully tested in the final arrangement in order to provide correct distribution of the TTLink signals to each mini-crate avoiding any possible ground loop.
Ø Even if SPEXI signals will not available yet, tests will be performed using TTLink generated by Master board in each mini-crate.
