Week in review This week was Seuss-tastic! All week we’ve been celebrating one of the best children’s authors of all time- Dr. Seuss! We devoted each day to one of his books and had lots of fun dressing up! A class favorite was “Horton Hears a Who”. With this book we made our own Horton’s and wrote about the character traits he possessed throughout the story. We also had a chance to try Green Eggs and Ham! In our Scholastic News we learned all about the process of writing a book. In Phonics, we worked with Long O and the –one word family, as well as the chunks “kn” and “ph”. We enjoyed reading each morning with our moms, dads, grandparents, guest readers and readers from LT Ball! Reading is so much fun!
