University of Central Missouri CHRISTIAN campus house { } ...a look at 2012 To summarize an entire year of ministry is a challenging task. To highlight certain events or happenings and not others would make some seem lesser when in fact we believe that everything we do here at Campus House has the potential to grow students in their relationship with God. Therefore the process of reflecting here requires, rather than a summary, a comparison: What did we hope for? What were our goals for the year? In more specific words, were we faithful in our mission of being a Jesus community helping students find their way back to God? The best way to answer this question is to think of the individuals we interact with on a yearly, monthly, weekly, and, for some, even daily basis . . . to think of their growth, their struggles, and the evidence of Christ’s work in their lives. While this is not an ex- tensive list, we think of Justin. Meagan. Wayne. Sophia. The other Meagan. Stephen. Kaytlynn. Devin. Thom- as. Nick. Katelyn. Sam. Lacy. Emily. Nathan. Kylie. Andrew. Holly. Tyler. Kirstin. Sam. James. Stephanie. Tan- ner. Hannah. Casey. Though you may not feel much connection to these names, these are our answers. Read them again . . . these are lives that God is restoring and revolutionizing through your generosity and prayers. In 2012 God provided for us financially through individuals like you and area churches who desire to see college stu- dents encounter God in a way that will change their future. We cannot praise God enough for raising up a support team for this ministry; we also cannot thank you enough for your willingness to invest in our work. We pray that you realize the huge role you are playing in growing God’s kingdom here at UCM and we pray that He bless you for your generosity.

. . .a look at 2012

To summarize an entire year of ministry is a challenging task.

While this is not an ex-tensive list, we think of Justin. Meagan. Wayne. Sophia. The other Meagan. Stephen. Kaytlynn. Devin. Thom-as. Nick. Katelyn. Sam. Lacy. Emily. Nathan. Kylie. Andrew. Holly. Tyler. Kirstin. Sam. James. Stephanie. Tan-ner. Hannah. Casey. Though you may not feel much connection to these names, these are our answers. Read them again . . . these are lives that God is restoring and revolutionizing through your generosity and prayers.

In 2012 God provided for us financially through individuals like you and area churches who desire to see college stu-dents encounter God in a way that will change their future. We cannot praise God enough for raising up a support team for this ministry; we also cannot thank you enough for your willingness to invest in our work. Hopes for 2013...

This new year will bring changes to the ministry structure in general and spe-cifically to our staff. Daylen and Megan, our two staff interns, will complete their second and final year with us in May. They have brought so much depth and growth to the family that we will be incredibly sad to see them go; however, we are incredibly excited to watch what God does with their futures. As they leave us, we look to recruit another pair to work alongside us in our calling to the students of UCM; not two new staff interns, but a Director of Worship and Creative Arts and his supportive wife with a heart for women’s ministry.

This has been a prayer of ours for several months now, and we are fol-lowing God in the process of adding those individuals to the team. But in addition to raising up those individuals, we are pleading with God to raise up other individuals to provide for this new salary. To offer what we consider a reasonable starting salary for this family, we need an estimated $2000 of additional monthly income. We hope to see some of this come from our most recent alumni as they transition to the working world. We hope to see parents inspired by the work the Holy Spirit has done in their children and in turn support the Campus House. We also hope to see additional support from our supporting churches as we appeal to them for this pur-pose. Please join us in praying very specifically for God’s provision, and look for future updates from us about how you can get involved!

*While we received some additional support at the end of the year, we were unable to pay Brad’s salary in full due to lower income in the summer months. **The low Payroll Exp. line therefore causes the net income line to be overstated.
