Fables Unit Plan Monday
Analyzing the Learner• 3rd grade
• 8-9 years old
• 20 children: 11 boys - 9 girls
• 80% of students are White, 20% percent of students are African American
• Appalachian Area
Main Objective!
•My students will recognize a fable as compared to other types of literature.
•They will do this by 1. Watching a video-story of a fable on the SmartBoard 2. Viewing and discussing a poster about fables that will be
posted in my blog 3. Creating a comparative graphic organizer that I found on
Pinterest. •My students will accomplish this by the end of Monday with
100% accuracy.

SmartBoard)
