本单元主要是围绕职业的话题展开,让学生掌握各种职业的英文,对职业的不同看法,并学会怎样询问别人的职业.询问和表达自己或者他人理想的职业.教材后部分还以篇章的形式出现职位应聘的广告.

二、教学目标 2. 技能目标

1 )通过新知识的有序呈现,在学生完成一系列任务的过程中,培养学生观察、记忆和思维的能力。在听、说、读写全方位的训练中,提高学生综合语言运用能力。

2 )通过小组讨论,培养学生的合作能力。3 )学生能够自如的谈论各种不同的工作 , 并简单

的介绍自己父母的工作 , 和自己将来想从事的工作。

4 )能简单的写一份个人简历。

三、教学的重难点1. 表示职业的词汇以及本单元的目标语: What does he do? What do you want to be? 2. 一般现在时的否定式、疑问式及简略回 答和一般现在时的基本用法。 3.What,where 引导的特殊疑问句。 4.want,work 的一般现在时的用法。动词的第三人称单数形式。 a/an 的正确使用。5. 形容词的使用。

Period 1: SectionA-1a, 1b, 1c, 2c

Period 2: Section A- 2a, 2b,

SectionB:1a,1b,2a,2b,2c.

Period 3: SectionA:3a,3b,4.

Period 4: Section B: 3a,3b 3c,4 and Self-check.

Period One SectionA-1a, 1b, 1c, 2c Step 1: Warming up. Show Ss pictures of some famous actors, and ask them questions like this:

T: Do you know Jackie Chan?

Do you like him?

What’s his job? = What does he do?

顺利过渡到询问自己的职业 “ What do I do?”

Step 2: New words learning 引入新句型后呈现一系列图片,让学生通过图片来记忆单词,通过一些熟悉的明星来激发学习兴趣,并自然过渡到第三人称,单词融入句型来学习,培养学生在语境中理解、识记单词。S-S --What does he/ she do? -- He /She is a /an….

-- Where does he /she work? --He /She works in/at….

回到课本 P19 1a 将职业与图中的代号联系起来

Step 4: 听力练习 1b

Step 5: 通过大家熟悉的姚明,出现句型

Period Two Section A:2a, 2b, SectionB:1a,1b,2a,2b,2c.

Step 1: Warming up. 通过 Chant 来以 chant 的形式复习上节课的主要句型, 不一样的复习形式,将引起学生极大的学习兴趣。

Step 2: 通过图片和句型复习已有的单词,温故而知新,为新课的学习打下基础; 培养学生学会自己学习。

Step 3: 马上进入听力 2a,2b. 以听的方式来复习旧知 .

Step 4: 通过 What do you want to be? Why? 来引出新内容,描述工作性质的单词。给出图片,让学生有视觉冲击。问答形式。 What do/ don’t you want to be? Why?

Step 6 : 请同学们汇总职业梦想 , 列出班级里职业梦想 Top Ten.

始终围绕本单元的话题开展活动, 既“巩固新知”,使学生通过这种交互活动的方式进一步熟悉新的单词,又增进了相互间的了解。并请同学总结本小组情况。

Period Three SectionA:3a,3b,4.Step 1 Guessing Game! 通过猜的形式调动学生积极性,既可以复习单词,又可以引入新内容。” Guess, what do I do?”

Eg: I work in the hospital every day. My work is very hard but also very important. The doctors and patients need my help. I help the doctor and look after the patients. I always wear white clothes. People call us “angels(天使 ) in white”

Step 2: 回到课本 3a match. 巩固新词组。

Step 3: 小组活动,每组编一个迷,然后展示成果,让其他同学来猜。

Step4: 编对话,假设你是一名 CCTV 的记者,在街上碰到刘亦菲,周星驰或其他明星,请对他或她进行采访并做报告。

Step 1: Guessing game. 通过图片展示,让学生猜职业和工作场所。一般疑问句操练到位。单词也全面复习,学生热情高涨。Is she/he a …?

Step 2: 描述图片中的人的职业。给出提示性问句。

Does he work late/hard…? How does he work ?

Step 3: 讨论学生将来从事的职业。 创设情境,鼓励学生参与讨论。

Eg: 1.Do you like to talk to people and help people? If you do , What job do you want to be?

Step 4: 回到书本,巩固知识 Section B 3a 3b 3c3c 部分应给出情景,例如 If you are the owner of a new restaurant. Please write two pieces of wanted ads for the jobs of cooks and waitress.
