The target audience for this film poster is for young youth people because they are dressed in a way where teenagers would dress up such as the hooded top and the baggy trousers. This constructs that the film poster is trying to aim at teenagers where they would like to see gangs of children with their friends.

However the poster has a diversity mix of people where there are black and white, and mix race children. This helps to broaden up the audience where different ethnic people can relate to them and can get encouraged to watch the film.

There are also adults who are standing at the side of the children. there is a 20 years old looking woman who is dressed in a normal causal way, and a 30 years old looking man who is dresses in a young youth way. This constructs that the film poster is also trying to show that adults can also relate to this film. As result this Borden up the target audience and it makes the film poster look interesting to adults as well.

The purpose of the film poster is aimed at the target audience who are mostly young youth people and also adults. The poster is also there for the target audience to get encourage to pay to watch the film in the cinemas. therefore this helps the film company to make their money.

The film poster will be seen in cinemas and also on the internet. This will help people to easily find out about the film so they can go to the cinemas to watch it. Therefore Poster in cinemas will be easily seen because when people will go to watch other films they can also see and spot the poster. Also young youth and adults are mostly active these days on the internet so people can also get information about the film from there.

The way the film poster has been constructed to show the genre of the film is by having the spaceship lights coming towards the building. this shows the Sci-Fi elements of the film. Also the colour of the sky makes it look more like a Sci Fi feature such as the colour dark blue and red.

The image also shows a spaceship on earth which is a science fiction thing this contracts that clearly the film is a Sci-Fi film.

The tagline says “Inner city VS outer space”. This constructs that the film has a combination of two different things such as the word “city” which exist in the world and then it has something that doesn't exist in the word which is “space”. Therefore this makes it appealing because when it mentions about space it shows Sci-Fi part of the film.

The title is also very bold and big which makes it very clear for audience to notice it. therefore this helps the title to look more appealing and engaging to the audience. The title which says “Attack the block” is a appealing title because of the words that are used in it. this contracts that the block is the special part of the film.

The way the characters has been contracted to appeal the target audience is by having different ethnic such as black and mix race and white. Therefore this broaden up the audience that way more people can relate to them because there are different type of ethnic which makes it look diversity.

The way the clothing has been constructed to appeal the target audience is by having the children wear what a young youth people would wear such as the boys are wearing hooded tops and the baggy trousers also caps and the hat. Therefore Those are the examples of how young youth people would look like. As results the target audience will be more engaged and appealed when they see the characters because they can relate to them because of their appearance are.

There are also adults that are in the film poster. this constructs that they are trying to Borden up the audience. Therefore the lady who is dressed in casual way wears a normal black top and trousers. This constructs that she is a casual 20 years old looking woman. As result other woman like her can relate to her because it will look appealing to woman who are like her. Similarly the man who is dressed in young youth way is also constructed to look like a normal 30 years old man. This means other men's like him can also relate to him.

The construction of the boy with his bike also appeals to young youth because those are the type of things they like to uses or see in their age group.

The way the setting has been constructed in this poster is by having the city of London with ironic buildings. Therefore this shows the establishing shot of the film poster. This also helps the audience to give details where the exablishing shot is or where the film will take place.

Here as you can see those are some example of the ironic buildings in London such as the Gherkin and the other building. This makes the poster look more appealing and interesting to the target audience. Also those are places where young youth are interested because it is based in London where it sounds more exciting.

The block its self is constructed to show that the building is a normal council sate flat. this is clearly trying to show to the audience that the council flat is where the children will mostly be in the film. Therefore This appeals to young youth because those are places where young youth people will like to go.

They have included “from the producers of Shaun of the dead” because the audience can find out about the film. this also makes the poster sound more interesting because it gives the audience more information about other things they might be interested about. As result the genre of the film is the type of film where young youth people would be appealed and attracted to. At the same time this also promotes the film to help them get people to pay and to watch the film in the cinemas.

The promotional method that has been mentioned on the poster are social network such Facebook. Therefore this helps the target audience to communicate with them on Facebook where they can get information and interact with them.

The way the audience might respond to these promotional method is by going on their Facebook page to comment on their pictures and videos and say what they feel about them and share what the like about it. Therefore This keeps them engaged. They chose Facebook because they know young youth

people likes using social network with their peers and they like to use it to find out about lasts news and gossip. As result this helps them to be appealed to go on their Facebook page to find out more about the film and to get the latest news and updates such as pictures and videos.
