“Ok, now we've had your test results back from last month, and its not looking good I’m afraid.”

“…to both the bowels and the prostate, and it is rather far into its development.”

“The cancer has been there for rather a long time, it has viciously spread and covered…”

“Well… the growth of cancer started rapidly but it’s slowed down slightly now – but the effects are still too severe to reverse. This means we don’t really have a definite answer; it could be anywhere from 6 months to 4 years.”

“There are treatments out there that can slow the growth down, but as…”

“…it has been developing for over 3 years now, the organs it has covered means that any operation is out of the question.”

“Now… we can get some more detailed scans in, then determine a course of medication and possible chemotherapy or radiotherapy, then we may be able to…”

“Thank you… I have to go now.”

The music fades out.“That’s okay, do whatever you have to.”
