The process of raw material in Britannia goes in the above way. The material will be received from
the supplier and then the raw material will go for a quality check if the quality is good then it is

accepted by the stores manger and then it is stored in the warehouse. Once the material is stored
in the warehouse the requisition plan is issued according to that the raw materials will be issued
for mixing the ingredients like Maida, milk powder, and other proteins whereas the sugar is
transferred to the sugar crusher and then the sugar powder will go for making sugar syrup and
then the syrup will be added in the mixing process at the later on stage. Once the raw materials
are mixed then the plan for which biscuit is to be made according the shape and size of the biscuit
is moulded and the online checking process will be done to identify if any unwanted particles.
Then the biscuits moulded will go for baking process once the biscuits are baked then the biscuits
will go for the cooling process. For every 1 min of baking 1.8 minutes of cooling process the
biscuits will undergo and the packaging and DQI (daily quality inspection) and then the biscuits are
transferred into finished goods area and then distribution.
