English Translation:

The Thief

1. A thief went to steal some things from a shop.

2. As he approached the shop, he saw people in the back of the

shop as well as in front.

3. The shop keeper saw the thief stealing and chased him away.

4. The thief fled to his house.

5. At home he realized, “This stealing business is dangerous!”

6. He regretted what he did, stopped stealing and started to

work instead.

Amharic Translation:

ሌባው

1. አንድ ሌባ ሰውዬ ከሱቅ እቃ ለመስረቅ ሄደ።

2. ሌባው ሱቁ ጋር ሲደርስ ከፊቱም ከኋላውም ሰው አየ።

3. የሱቁ ጠባቂ ሌባውን በሱቁ አካባቢ ሆኖ ተመለከተውና አባረረው።

4. ሌባው ሮጦ በማምለጥ ቤቱ ደረሰ።

5. ሌብነቱ እንዴት አስጀጋሪ ሁኔታ ውስጥ እንደከተተው አስቦ በጣም አዘነ።

6. በጣም ተፀፅቶ ሌብነት አቁሞ ትጉህ ሰራተኛ ሆነ።
