Key Customer Themes:

• NEW £5 Off Your Next £40 Shop When You Spend £40 In Store: Promoted by outside banner and A boards.

• Father’s Day: 12 bays dedicated to gifts and cards, highlighted by header boards and shelf fins.

• Beer And Cider Festival: 12 bays dedicated to various beer, lager and cider offers. Highlighted by header boards and shelf fins.

• Clubcard Voucher Exchange: ‘Turn every £5 voucher into a £10 token’. Promoted by outside banner, A boards, standees and overhead signs.

• Special Offers: Including £1 and ½ price. Highlighted by end of aisle signage.

• Price Promise: Continues to be promoted in store with security shrouds and overhead signs.

• General Feel: Store was busy at time of visit, with lots of staff on tills. Some shelves needed filling and there were very few staff on sales floor. 

Key Deals:• Kenco Millicano: ½ price• Haagen Dazs Ice Cream: ½ price• Magnum Ice Creams: ½ price• Finish Quantum Dishwasher Tabs x40: ½ price • Fab Lollies x8: ½ price• Aunt Bessie’s Apple Crumble: 2 for £2.50

Key Customer Themes:

• NEW Father's Day: Highlighted with overhead signs bordering 9 bays of themed gifts down the seasonal aisle, as well as bunting and bus stops.

• Price Lock: ‘Where prices go down and stay down’. Seen advertised mainly in the central aisle area attached to various offers, also bunting is seen on the aisle ends.

• Let’s Garden & Outdoor Living: 29 bays and additional displays of garden equipment and ornaments. Highlighted with a variety of promotional signs, bunting and bus stops.

• 1000's Of Products £1: Key theme used for emphasising the store offers. With extensive high signs down the central aisle.

• Asda Price Guarantee: ‘10% cheaper or we'll give you the difference’. Hugely advertised on every checkout and overhead front of store signs.

• General Feel: The store was generally clear with well stacked shelves and large front of store furniture displays. Plenty of staff on hand for assistance. The back of store aisle had additional advertisements for various Asda branded cupboard fillers at reduced prices. The most impactful themes were Father's Day and the Garden / Out door living promotion.

Key Customer Themes:• Father’s Day: ‘Treat your Hero Dad’. Hanging signs and shelf fins highlight Father’s Day items across various departments.

• British Nights In: Morrisons sponsors 'Britain’s Got Talent ‘. Lots of hanging signs, shelf barkers and shelf fins highlighting various items for a good night in.

• Every Penny Matters: ‘We're on a mission to save you every penny we can’. This slogan appears on lots of POS in store, including bus stops and hanging signs.

• Payday Bonus: Collect your coupon when you spend £35 in one transaction each week for 3 weeks and get a £10 voucher to spend in store.

• Fuel Saver: Buy gift cards for various stores and get money off fuel. Every £10 you spend get 1p off per litre of fuel.

• Bring On The Great Outdoors: 10 bays dedicated to garden and barbecue items. Highlighted with hanging signs and shelf fins.

• ½ Price Offers: Highlighted on end of aisle by shelf barkers and end of aisle signs.

• General Feel: The store was busy with lots of tills open and quite a few staff to hand on the sales floor.

• Tesco Clubcard: This appears to be the only theme in store. Seen advertised around the entrance and checkouts.

• General Feel: Busy, brand new store. Staff were busy, seen putting stock out and assisting customers. The shelves were well stacked. 

Key Deals:• Selected Beers 10pk: £8• Beers Single Bottles: 3 for £5• Selected Wines: ½ price• Coca Cola 1.5 litres: 2 for £3 • Fresh Bakery Products: 3 for 2• Nestle Cereals: ½ price

• Father's Day: EPU at the front of the store promoting gifts for Father’s Day, highlighted with an overhead sign and bus stops.

• Summer: 4 bays in the Seasonal aisle promoting Summer products, highlighted with high signs, bus stops and barkers.

• 1000's Of Ways To Great Value: Seen on signs highlighting various offers.

• Brand Price Match: Comparing Waitrose prices to Tesco's using green barkers & bus stops scattered around the store and large hanging signs.

• General Feel: Clean, well laid out store, with neat well stacked shelves. Plenty of staff working on shop floor to assist the customers.

Key Deals:• Waitrose Seriously Truffles / Biscuits / Cakes: Save 1/3• Beers Single Bottles: 3 for £5• Selected Wines: Save 1/3• Dinner For 2: £10• Fairy / Persil / Comfort: 3 for £18 / £25• Coca Cola 10pk: 2 for £6.50

Key Customer Themes:

• Father's Day: Additional card shippers have been placed at FOS highlighting Father’s Day. Also a Father's Day Gondola end supports the event with associated gifts.

• Big Deals: Logo advertised on all the major offers around the store. Theme was seen mainly on overhead signs, sides of dump bins and on assorted POS.

• Fairtrade: Various picture displays on the pillars highlight to customers that the Co-op cares for the environment and community when selecting their products.

• General Feel: Tidy store with noticeable red Big Deals signs throughout. Shelves were stacked well and plenty of helpful staff were available to assist.

Key Customer Themes:• NEW Win 1000's Of Tickets For Summer Series Of Athletics When You Spend £50 Or More: Highlighted by overhead signs on entry and by till points. Also lots of hanging signs and shelf fins in various departments.

• Fathers Day: ' No 1 Dad’ Great gifts for Dad. Lots of hanging signs, till point POS, shelf barkers and end of aisle signs. There are two bays dedicated to Fathers Day cards and several FSDUs for DVDs and books.

• Everyday Food Made Special: Lots of hanging signs and shelf fins highlighting Sainsbury's food.

• Happy Pets: Pet aisle has hanging signs highlighting lots of pet item offers.

• Brand Match: Lots of end of aisle signage and leaflets at customer service desk advertising Sainsbury Brand Match.

• NEW Barbecue And Picnic: 11 bays in Seasonal aisle highlighted by shelf fins and directive overhead sign.

• General Feel: The store was clean tidy and well lit with lots of tills open and several staff to hand.
