Key Customer Themes:

• Descriptive POS: Pictorial POS remains a key theme in store with descriptive wording to promote offers within store.• School Stationery: Theme continues with 6 bays dedicated to “back to school” related items. Highlighted by overhead signs and shelf fins.• Clubcard Boost: “Double £5 vouchers to £10”. This theme is highlighted by bus stops and aisle end signage.• Price Promise: Store continues to promote their “Price Promise” throughout store with bus stops and overhead signs.

• General Feel: The store was very untidy with numerous gaps on shelves. The store is going through a refurbishment, however there are plenty of signs in store advising of new locations.

• NEW The Home Sale: There are 27 bays dedicated to various household related items including garden and outdoor products on promotion. The theme is highlighted with high signs and bus stops.• NEW The Pet Event: Overhead signs, bus stops, barkers, floor stickers and bunting highlighting the event in the pet aisle.• One Stop School Shop Class Of 2013: Theme continues with 15 bays within the seasonal aisle stocking school accessories at low prices, highlighted with overhead signs and bus stops.• 5 Star Cover At ASDA Prices: ASDA bank continues to advertise insurances over check out points.• Britain's Lowest Priced Supermarket 16 Years Running: Front of store overhead signage continues to be displayed.• Price Lock: “Where prices go down and stay down”. Theme returns with bunting advertising across the central aisles.

• General Feel: The store was tidy with reasonably stacked shelves. The “One Stop School Shop” theme is the most prominent in store on entry.

Key Customer Themes:• NEW Bank Holiday Bonus: “6p off every litre of fuel when you spend £40 or more in store”.• Hot Deals: ‘Get them while they're hot’. Slogan continues to be advertised throughout the store with high signs situated mainly in the centre aisles.• 100% Availability Guaranteed On Our Pick Of The Street Deals: Highlighted above check out points.• Back To School: Clothing and accessories continue to be promoted with overhead signage and bus stops.• Great Value: Theme continues with signs above every FOS gondola end.• Saving Stamps: Theme returns with the Pink Pig logo which are seen on and above every checkout and all around the front of store advertising £3 free.

• General Feel: The store was busy at time of visit made an untidy feel with additional table displays and stacks. Shelves were tidy with plenty of staff for assistance and shelf stacking.

The store was well presented and there were plenty of staff on tills and filling shelves.
