verb forms. When we give importance to what happens to people and

things, we often use passive verb forms.

Steps for changing Active Voice into Passive Voice:

1. Split the sentence into Subject + Verb + Object.

2. The Object in the Active Voice becomes the Subject in the passive voice.

3. Auxiliary Verb should be used.

4. Past Participle of the verb should be used.

5. Preposition “by” must be used.

6. The Subject in the Active Voice becomes the Object in the Passive Voice.

7. Pronouns in the Active Voice should be changed.
