The Classification of the Banks in UAE Banks in UAE can be classified into two major categories, namely national banks and foreign
banks. Each of these categories is further divided into conventional banks and Islamic Banks.
There are 15 Emirati national conventional banks and 9 Emirati national Islamic banks.
However, there are some conventional banks that provide Islamic Banking products and
