Rectangular knife-gate valve design for bi-directionalservice.

Block-Profile-Transverse-Seal

 The unique feature of the Block-Profile-

 Transverse-Seal are:

• self-adjusting

• suited for nearly all applications

• maintenance-free

• possibility of post-stuffing The side grooves in the seal are designed to

take up the required compression. Due to the

adequate spring efficiency inevitable abrasion

will be compensated, i.e. the seal itself has a

permanent, natural, initial tension effect.
