Introduces New Program
Nestled in rural Street, The
Children’s Center of North Harford (CCNH)
has served the families of Harford County
and Southern Pennsylvania since 1971.
CCNH has evolved over the years to meet
the needs of the community and has offered
nursery classes for 3 and 4 year olds,kindergarten readiness/ kindergarten classes,
daycare and before and after care for school-
aged children.
ME AND MY SHADOW
A Program for 2-Year
Olds and An Adult Who
Loves Them
The Children’s Center is excited tooffer a new program entitled ME AND MY
SHADOW for the 2010-2011 school year.
ME AND MY SHADOW is for the 2-year
old child and a caregiver and provides a
natural progression from the security of
home to the first school experience. The
schedule is designed to include group and

attractive classrooms at CCNH are
language-rich, child-centered, child-
friendly and designed for fun!
Classes are organized around
seasonal themes and will include art, music,
physical education, language arts, science
and sensory stimulation. Planned activities
take into account the cognitive, social,
physical and emotional domains of
development. The ME AND MY
SHADOW Program promises to offer a
curriculum rooted in developmentally
appropriate practice
Interactive songs, stories and fingerplays foster a
language-rich environment.
