Twitter Card Cheat Sheet Example meta tag: <meta name="twitter:_________________" content="_____________________"> Summary Card This card allows you up to 200 characters for the description. That’s a 60 character bump from normal tweets which could mean the difference between communicating clearly or not. What would you do with an extra 8 words? That’s basically an entire extra sentence. I recommend using your extra words for a call to action. Because of the ability to add both a “Creator” and a “Site” field, this is a great card to use for promoting your guest blogs. You can give credit to the site where the guest post is found AND give credit to the author by using both of their Twitter handles. :card = summary :site = Your own Twitter handle :title = The title of your blog post :description = Up to 200 characters with a description of this content :creator = *optional - if you want to give credit to a guest blogger, for instance :Image:src = What image should go along with this content? :Doman = Your website Twitter Cards 101 © Ann Harris
