Plant Ship And Setup

• Continuous Mixing Plants are shipped by roll-on/off boat to US ports and trucked to site

• Continuous mixing plants can be erected and readied for production in 4 – 6 hours


Plant Hydraulic and Electrical Operation

• A Final Tier4 Volvo 6 cylinder turbocharged diesel drives the Genset

• 84 gallons of diesel fuel will run the system continuously for approximately 10 hours

• Hydraulics are only used to level the plant and raise the cement silo

• The system is calibrated and managed using the Windows 7 based control panel and software


Rapid 400C and 400CW

• The Rapid 400 Series plant is a self contained, fully mobile continuous mixing plant– The plant can be erected in 2 - 3 hours and ready

to use in 4 – 6 hours after calibrated– The 400C/CW is capable of mixing up to 400 ton

of material per hour


Continuous Mixing Volumetric Plants• The Rapid 400C & 600C are volumetric

– Volumetric proportioning can be described as having:• Aggregate, fines, and cement flowing continuously• Measured volumes of materials flowing continuously using calibrated feed

mechanisms + volumetric water• Predetermined volumes of each ingredient set via a computer recipe

controlling the speed of the feed mechanisms• Volume versus Time!

– Continuous Mixing can be described as having:• The output of an outloading conveyor discharging mixed material equal to the

input aggregate conveyor, cement, and water charging the mixer• The system is continuous in nature set to a predetermined number of tons of

mixed material per hour

Continuous Mixing Weigh/Gravimetric Plants

– The Rapid 400CW and 600CW are weigh plants– Weighing plants can be described as having:

• A weigh belt hanging from load cells• Aggregate, fines, and cement weighed continuously across the load cells• Weighed and measured volumes of materials using calibrated feeders and +

metered water• Predetermined weights of each ingredient set via a computer recipe controlling

the speed of the feed mechanisms

– Continuous Mixing (same as volumetric) can be described as having:• The output of an outloading conveyor discharging mixed material equal to the

input aggregate conveyor, cement, and water charging the mixer• The system is continuous in nature set to a predetermined number of tons of

mixed material per hour• Production may be halted as required to meet construction requirements

Wi-Fi Transmitter located on top of the cement silo provides local Wi-Fi network (3G or 4G Sim card to be provided by customer)

Wi-Fi Transmitter allows users to remotely connect into the system to view production, view stock levels or operate remotely

Wi-Fi Transmitter allows Rapid Support Engineers to remotely diagnose faults and provide technical assistance

A backup laptop is provided as a ‘Hot Swap’ which can take over from the Panel PC to ensure minimal downtime in the event of a failure in the Panel PC.

Backup laptop can provide users with full control of the plant within Wi-Fi coverage range (typically 20metre radius for most applications)
