Introduction

Tweet Rocket was built to help businesses and social media marketers use Twitter

effectively by growing an audience, curating content and driving traffic.

You can use this guide to help you make the most of Tweet Rocket’s powerful features. Of

Account Interests

When you first sign up we ask you for some keywords to help us build up your interests

ready to be used for all of the features within your account.

What does it do?Account interests are the core of your Tweet Rocket use. They act as important topics

that we then utilise to come up with suggestions for following, retweets, likes and

eventually content curation.

Can I change them?Yes! We encourage you to go in and play with your interests to better hone the data that

is returned to you, the more you tweak this the better your results not only in data fed

back but in your eventual account growth too!

Dashboard

This is your home whenever you sign into your Tweet Rocket account, here you will find a

quick digest of your latest stats. You can see your follower growth since you began using

Tweet Rocket, and other basic stats including users unfollowed, users followed, tweets

sent (within tweet rocket) and mentions.

Once we have rolled out our analytics area you will be able to drill down much further

into this data and get some great insights into your account performance, and even reply

to some of those all important mentions.

Social Media Assistant

Over on the right hand side we have the early stages of what

will become your greatest ally when using Tweet Rocket. Your

very own virtual social media assistant. We want this to be the

ultimate guide for anyone who isn’t well-versed in twitter

management, ideal for small business owners who need

some quick info on what to do daily. If you feel comfortable with the tool then just head on over to

your account setting where you can switch this feature off for

a more fullscreen and laid back experience.

Tasks

Right now when you first sign up you will be greeted and given

some basic tasks to complete to give you a rough guide of the

features within Tweet Rocket. Our goal is to add to these over time and also develop some

more intelligent suggestions for more advanced users that can be dynamically created

per user based on your activity within the tool over time.

Follow

An essential part of twitter is of course following other accounts. What is more important

to us though is that following is also a great way to gain growth through users following

back. It was important to us to ensure that we could come up with a way that allowed

you to grow not just any audience but an engaged one who is interested in the content

you share and the topics you cover. This is all done by utilising the earlier mentioned account interests. Allowing our system

to go off and find users who are using not only those terms but related terms that we pull

from the Hastagify API.

SortingWe have two methods of sorting your results when it comes to following, by Tweet

Rocket Score and by Follow Back (F/B) Chance. We will go into a little more detail on

these two varying methods and why you might wish to use them.

Sort by Tweet Rocket Score

Sorting by Tweet Rocket Score is a tactic that we find works for higher profile twitter

accounts, if you already have several thousand followers then this tends to be the best

way to follow, allowing you to only follow users who have strong and relevant accounts

and who are often influencers themselves.

What is a Tweet Rocket Score though? It’s a question we do get asked on occasion.

Essentially it’s our own algorithm that takes numerous factors into consideration when

scoring a twitter users including some of the following:

• account age

• activity level

• presence of a bio

• number of followers

We find that it not only acts as a guide when following and unfollowing but also allows

you to see growth in your own account as you see your own score rising over time.

Sort by Follow Back Chance

If you have a smaller account, or maybe a business account this method tends to work

best when it comes to growing a following quickly. Sorting these users by follow back

chance allows us to feed you back only the users that are likely to follow you back

relatively quickly.

Why Follow?This is a feature that will enable you to quickly check why we have suggested a user to

follow, a small box will popup to show you why they were selected.

Ignore?We give you the option to ignore any suggestions that we give you to follow. You may

have competitors appear due to their use of similar industry terms that you may not

wish to follow, just hit the ignore button next to ‘Why follow?’ and they won’t be

suggested again

Follow SettingsRight now follow settings is purely dedicated to our location targeting module, allowing

you to filter down your follow suggestions by a specific location or point of interest.

Using Location Targeting: A real world example

Thanks to google maps our location targeting not only knows towns and cities, but

landmarks too. A great example of how this could be used is the targeting an event. For

example, if you were looking to gain followers going to an event at the O2 arena in

London. You could set this as a location and laser target those individuals who are

tweeting from that location and who are using hashtags relevant to yourself.

However general day to day use we find that our users who target within 50-100 miles of

a major city get best results.

Unfollow

Unfollowing is something we suggest to do regularly to ensure that you have a good

following to follower ratio. We suggest that you do this daily to check on those account

you may have followed over the past week have followed you back

Show Non FollowersNon followers are the ones that we recommend you unfollow first, unfollowing them is

unlikely to negatively effect your following and your growth.

Ignore?

Of course we understand that you may follow some influencers on twitter that are never

likely to follow you back, in this case we suggest the use of the ignore button to remove

this account from any future suggestions.

Followed Date

The followed date is key when unfollowing. You should always allow a natural amount of

time for a follower to follow you back, we tend to see that users who are followed and

that follow back usually perform this action within a week, any longer than that we

suggest an unfollow. We have implemented a simple drop down to filter these users by

date followed.

Manage Feeds

This is the core of Tweet Rockets content curation platform. It’s where you can pull in

content from your favourite blogs, utilising RSS feeds. You can pull in your own blog, even

a product rss feed. It’s completely down to you.

Adding a feedOnce you have a feed to add it’s a simple as pasting the URL into the add feed area. The

engine will now go off and learn the layout of the RSS feed, enabling it to pull back

images, titles and all that Tweet Rocket needs to construct a tweet using the feed. This

may take up to a minute to process.

Do you only support RSS?

Right now, yes. But we have extensive plans to improve this area of the tool to integrate

youtube, vine, and more.

Feed CustomisationThe magic of Tweet Rocket is the ability to fully customise your content pulled from

feeds. Utilise the power of our customisation engine to curate varied and natural looking

tweets that can act as great filler content to beef out your profile or even just give the

impression that your account is fully active during periods when you aren't able to tweet

actively or often.

During the customisation period of a feed there are currently 5 major sections in which

you can modify your feed content.

Basics

The Basic section is essentially the management and basic settings of that particular

feed. The options include 3 basic options:

• Edit the feed title (as it is displayed in the platform)

• Include photos in tweets (when possible)

• Include a shortened link to the article

The last two are switched on by default (recommended) but it really is up to you.

Hashtags

The hashtags section is vital in ensuring that you are reaching a wider audience (outside

of those who follow you) By dropping in a popular hashtag your tweet will be visible to

those who search that term.

Tweet Structure

Here is a section in which you can really make your tweets stand out and also ensure

that you give credit where it is due to the original content owner.

This area has three major uses; Find & Replace, Prefix, and Suffix. The first: ‘Find and

Replace’, enables you to inform the engine that you wish to replace a specific word if

used in the title of a post to display another word instead, such as an @mention,

#hashtag or just an abbreviation. It’s completely flexible. In the example above, you can

see we have informed Tweet Rocket that if the post title in the feed contains marketing

or content, it will replace those with hashtag versions of those words.

The next and often most useful section is the prefix, these can be utilised however you

wish to add an intro to your tweets. However, from our experience we find it best to

utilise these to reference the original content owner, so as to not come across as if you

are passing it off as your own.See an example below…

You can add as many prefixes or suffixes as you wish, to make sure that your tweets from

this source are both rich and varied.

Filter

The filter section is great for anyone who knows that their feed may often contain

content that isn’t quite right for their target market, simply drop in some keywords that

you do not want to get posted, and articles will be eliminated from any future tweets.

Frames

Possibly the most valuable tool in the whole Tweet Rocket platform, Frames is an

incredible way to drive traffic to your own product or service by dropping in a beautiful

frame at the top of every link that you tweet out. Whether you are an unsigned musician

looking to promote a new piece of music, or a youtube streamer looking to gain

subscribers this tool will be of so much value to you.

Simply enter the fields that you wish to be displayed and whenever a tweet goes out you

will see your banner sitting proudly at the top of some of the worlds most prestigious

websites.

Preview Tweet

Once you have done your tweaks, go ahead and hit that preview button to see your

changes in effect and see a preview of a sample tweet from your modified feed!

Lastly, just don't forget to turn the feed to ‘on’ with the toggle and you are done. Let’s

look at how we then go onto setting your tweet schedule. Once you are happy with the

changes to your feeds, simply hit the ‘on’ toggle and your account will be ready to go.

Feed Posting SettingsThe only thing left to do to enable your account to start curating content and tweeting is

to enable your tweet schedule and enter how often you would like to tweet and between

what times. This is all done within the tweet posting settings accessible from the tweet

schedule.

Tweet Schedule

The tweet schedule section is where you will find a calendar displaying all of your

scheduled tweets, you can see when your tweets will go out from your feeds and any

custom tweets that you may have scheduled too.

Scheduled Tweets

If you want to check that your scheduled tweets are going out at a good time you can see

this from here. You will see that our system intelligently decides the best times to tweet

throughout the day based on your feed posting settings that you set prior to this.

Add Custom Tweet

Simply hit the add custom tweet button to schedule your own tweets through tweet

rocket, this isn't only accessible through this section but at all times thanks to the quick

tweet button in the top menu bar throughout the app.

Then simply create your tweet, schedule a time and it will be added to your calendar.

Likes & Retweets

This section is a superb section for anyone who is quickly looking to add some popular

content to their feed, that is not only popular but incredibly relevant.

This section allows you to not only tweet or like a post instantly to your account, you can
