Music… The Mc – The person on the microphone, expressing his/her thoughts and emotions through lyrics.

The Dj – otherwise known as the disc jockey, play music at clubs or parties. They normally have two turntables which play records that are hooked up to a stereo system, providing music for the mc.

Graffiti

An illegal art form where artists claim territory by painting their “tag name” or message in public places.Graffiti is also known as “tagging.”

Dance Break Dancing – also known as b-boying

(break boys), is a form of hip hop dancing.The dancers acquired the name b-boys because they would dance during the “break” in the song.
