This is our School’s state-of-the-art Technology centre featuring the latest computers with high speed internet connection. Physics The laboratory activities in high school Physics is an experience in itself. A starting place for the systematic development of students’ ideas, the physics lab acts as a creative center and testing ground for the curricula based experiments and also hobbyist experiments by the science club.

Go-Karting

Go-Karting is a variant of open-wheeler motor sport with simple, small four-wheeled vehicles called go-karts. They are usually raced on scaled-down circuits. Go-Karting is commonly perceived as the stepping stone to the higher and more expensive ranks of motorsports. The school has a Go-Karting track to train children in this exciting sport. Multi-cuisine Food CourtThe school provides a hygienic multi-cuisine system with separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian food courts to provide healthy and nutritious food to the inmates. A well balanced dietary system is followed. There is provision for Jain food too. The menu is regularly updated by the Food Committee. This committee is headed by the Chairman and the other members that include Mess Manager, Wardens, two residential teachers and the dietician. Interact ClubThe Interact Club of RMK Residential School draws inspiration and guidance from Rotaract Club of Chennai Sun City. The biggest event every year for the Club is the hosting of Dream Cricket Day, a day of fun filled activities for differently enabled children. This is done in collaboration with The Bradman Cricket Foundation, Australia.

The Interact Club is also at the Forefront of community service programmes undertaken by the school. It raises funds and material for donations to the poor and needy. The National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps with its Headquarters at New Delhi. Mr. A. K Pattabiraman usually referred to by friends and colleagues as AKP joined the Tata Consultancy Services in 2OO4. He currently wears two important hats in TCS - he is the Head of the Accreditation Process for South India and also drives the Academic Interface Program for Tamil Nadu. In the former role, he continually evaluates the quality of engineering institutions in all the four southern states and the Union Territory of Pondicherry. AKP, who did his Masters from Madras University, joined the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, in 1981 as Head of Training and Placement.

Dr. Chandran completed his Master’s in Information Science and pursued his Research Degree leading to Doctor of Philosophy. His work on Structuring Meta Data based on categories had been highly commended and the Doctoral Degree (PhD) was awarded to him from Madurai University. He also successfully completed his Graduate Diploma in IT from the University of Technology, Sydney.
