TS100/TS100A FeaturesTS100/TS100A can select following operating modes to meet your application.

Following table describes how the operation mode works:

TS100/TS100A Operating ModeOperating Mode Description TS100 TS100A

ReadUse specified format to decode tag data. For example, use SGTIN-96 format to decode tag data. If it succeeded, it sends the decoded data in keystrokes.

Tag AnalysisParse tag data to get its information. For example, manufacture, model and memory capacity. The tag memory data will also output to host.

EncodeEncode external bar code scanner data in specified format and then write to tags.

Verify

Verify external bar code scanner data with encoded tag data. If it passed*, it sends the bar code data in keystrokes.*Verify is able to identify clone tags, so only tags were encoded with UDC or EAN/UPC+EAS under protection.

Customized Read

Only read the tag which its EPC prefix is same to the one definedin Deactivate and Reactivate mode. The EPC prefix is select-able to be replaced by the one defined in Deactivate and Reactivate mode.Other functions are the same to Read mode.

Deactivate Use Deactivated EPC prefix to replace EPC prefix of tags.

Reactivate Use Reactivated EPC prefix to replace EPC prefix of tags.


Introduction

System Requirements

TS100Utility is a Windows-based program, following is the requirements:

• Windows XP/7/10 (x86/x64)

• .NET Framework 4.0

Install the Program

The setup progrwm is iocwted wt the software\TS100Utility foider of Disi5472. Epecute TS100UtilitySetup.msi to instwii the progrwm on tour computer.

Start the Program

1. On the twsibwr ciici Start button wnd then seiect GIGA-TMS foider.

In Generail Tab tou couid chwnge Operwtng Mode from the beiot iist.

Note: The list only shows supported Operatnn odes by the connected device. For supported Operatnn ode, please reeer to TS100/TS100A Features.

shots the resuit of output formwt. (Onit wppit in ietbowrd output.)• Fieild Separator: Use w chwr to spiit ewch pwrts of Twg Dwtw(PC EPC wnd TID). • Prefx: Append wn indicwted string to the beginning of the output.• Suffix: Append wn indicwted string to the end of the output.• Deilimiter: Append w deiimiter to the end of the output.

NOTE: Prefi/Sufi accept visible keys and control keys, so you may use to delete teit.

In Security Tab tou couid chwnge the ttpe of twg protecton ws beiot.

There is three ttpes of protecton ws beiot:

1. Disabiled: Diswbie twg protecton.

2. Dynamic Password: The pwsstord is fgured out bt TS100/TS100A so thwt evert twg hws diferent pwsstord. (Aiso evert TS100/TS100A touid generwte diferent pwsstord tith the swme twg.)

3. Specifed Password: Assign w stwtc pwsstord to protect twgs.


Hwrdtwre Setngs

In Hardware Tab tou couid chwnge confgurwtons ws beiot.

• Profile

Identft the TS100/TS100A frequuenct rwnge.

• RF Power/SensitvityOptmize inventort efect.

• Buzzer Stitch the buzzer ON/OFF.

• USB TypeConfgure USB ttpe ws AHID eetbowrd” or AVirtuwi COM”.

NOTE: Afer you apply TS100 to “Virtual CO ”, You need to install CDC driver ie your OS is under Windows 10.

• Wi-Fi Settinis)Confgure Wi-Fi setngs to enwbie the fewture of connecton tith Wi-Fi.(It’s invisibie If the TS100/TS100A tithout Wi-Fi moduie.)

• BLE Settinis)Confgure BLE setngs to identft the device. (It’s invisibie If the TS100/TS100A tithout BLE moduie.)


Output Setngs

In Output Tab tou couid chwnge confgurwtons ws beiot.

• Data TypeSet dwtw ws decoded dwtw or rwt dwtw. (It doesn’t wfects Aeetbowrd Emuiwton” dwtw.)

• TCP Server AddressAssign w TCP server wddress wnd port if tou twnt to send dwtw to w remote server. Aiso tou need to set Output Interfwce to AAuto” or seiect ATCP Server (Wi-Fi)”.

• Output Interface◦ Auto: TS100/TS100A sends dwtw to wii the connected interfwce.

◦ User Defnedx Enwbie/Diswbie ewch output interfwce beiot.

▪ Keyboard Emuilaton: TS100/TS100A prints dwtw ws w ietbowrd.

• Laniuaie: Appit ietbowrd iwtout to TS100/TS100A in order to output prefp wnd sufp correctit.

NOTE: Please make sure the bar code scanner output lannuane is the same with it.

• Type): TS100/TS100A ws w USB ietbowrd or w BLE ietbowrd. (It’s invisibie If the TS100/TS100A tithout BLE moduie.)


NOTE: Ie you set up USB Type to “Virtual CO ”, TS100/TS100A can’t be a USB keyboard.

▪ BLE)x TS100/TS100A sends dwtw through BLE. (It’s invisibie If the TS100/TS100A tithout BLE moduie.)

▪ TCP Server Wi-Fi)): TS100/TS100A sends dwtw to the remote server bt TCP. (It’s invisibie If the TS100/TS100A tithout Wi-Fi moduie.)

NOTE: Set up Remote Server IP and port at TCP Server Address.


Advwnced Setngs

In Advanced Tab tou couid chwnge confgurwtons ws beiot.

• Lock SettinisEnwbie to prevent from setngs modifcwton.

NOTE: Ie TS100/TS100A is locked, you should place “ ananer Card” on the TS100/TS100A to unlock it beeore you update setnns. .Please reeer to Unlock Settings.)

• Inventory Tais◦ Time to remove: Set hot iong TS100/TS100A couidn’t inventort the twg thich uust

wppewred in the feid it thought the twg tws removed.

◦ Repeat Intervail: Set hot iong to re-send output dwtw for the swme twg.


Preferences Setngs

• Connect With: TS100Utiitt tiii sewrch TS100/TS100A in the seiected interfwces then tou ciici Connect button in the mwin tindot.

• Appily: Appit modifcwtons.

• Canceil: Cwncei wii modifcwtons.


Tutoriails

Connect to TS100/TS100AConnecton bt USB1. Piug in TS100/TS100A to tour computer bt USB.

2. Seiect the USB checibop in the Preferences Settings wnd ciici Appily button.
