Vilma Martinez waswas confirmed as U.S. Ambassador to Argentina by the U.S. Senate on July 24, 2009 Ambassador Martinez was born in San Antonio, Texas. She earned a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, and a LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from Columbia Law School.
