Transfer of assets before Bankruptcy, what is legal.? My husbands parents are filing bankruptcy In Missouri. We already refused to put t their house in our name. Now they are asking us to put their paid off car (0 5 hummer) in our name. We live in IL and would need to license and insure it as well. What are the repercussions of us doing this.
