1.2. Introduction - iAPPS Content Manager Dashboard

Log in to the administration (Admin) area through http://www.sportclips.com/admin or your store ‘website’s URL +

/admin’ (example: http://haircutmenarborwalkaustintx.com/admin ). Your Content Manager dashboard will appear

similar to the dashboard pictured below. The dashboard provides the tools to access the site editor (change store

webpage content), manage your stores profile attributes, or view your store’s location / address information. To

switch to a different store site, use the site selection control (#5) pictured below or the custom feature dashboard

    covered in section 1.3.

    Content Manager Dashboard

    1. Content Manager Main Menu – You may return to the Content Manager dashboard from any location

1.3. Introduction - Custom Feature Dashboard Functionality

The next area that you will need to access is the custom feature dashboard. It is from within the custom feature

dashboard that you will find the special tools needed to access features for managing Listen360 reviews

published to your sites, connecting with your store site’s iApps social accounts, opting in / out of participation

pages, and signing into ElementsLocal to use the Team Leader Email application. The tabs and buttons used to

access the special features are all located within ‘Regions 3 and 4’ of each feature (‘Regions 3 and an example of

    4’ are pictured below).

It is also important to note that the custom feature dashboard displays information for all of your authorized store

sites in one location; you do not need to switch store sites like you are required to do for the content manager.

The dashboard’s site context is managed by using filters (pictured below in ‘Region 2’) to set the store site or sites

that you want to work with. The default setting for the filters is all available store sites.

The custom feature dashboard is available throughout the system by clicking on the top left menu named

‘Dashboard’ that is pictured below in ‘Region 1’.

  • Confidential Document Copyright ©2015 Bridgeline Digital, Inc. Page 7

The custom dashboard’s site context filters are used to change the selection of store sites that will be used for the

dashboard functionality (context filters only apply to the custom dashboard functionality – not editing web page

content). The features described below in this document will contain sections that describe how the filters are

    applied to the functionality.

The availability and selection values of the filters are based on the user’s CMS site security assignments. The

filters automatically adjust to ensure that at least one store site will match the filter criteria. The sites tab is the

ideal location to see the store sites included by the current filter selection.

The user may type in a filter textbox to search for a filter list item, but the list item must be selected to apply a

    filter.

    1. States Filter (if you are a TL with stores in multiple states)

    a. The states filter may be used to select all store sites with a primary address that matches the

    selected state

    b. The states filter will list all available states that are assigned to the user’s authorized list of store

    sites

    2. Site Groups Filter

    AK100)

    iii. Team Leader ownership: {First Name} {Last Name}

    context to all available sites.

    dashboard functionality.

    1. Sites:

    a. Tab item to access the user’s full listing of Content Manager authorized store sites and links to

    site specific functionality

    b. The home / site listing page will provide the user with the ability to:

(Region 4) – Custom Dashboard Common Grid Functionality

  • Confidential Document Copyright ©2015 Bridgeline Digital, Inc. Page 9

Many of the custom dashboard’s features implement data grids like the one pictured below. The following grid

controls are common throughout the implementation.

    1. Export to CSV: All custom dashboard grids contain an ‘Export to CSV’ link. In many cases, the export

file will contain additional data columns that are not displayed on the screen.

    a. The export contains all rows of data and applies the current sort or filters where applicable

    2. Grid Sort Selection: The ‘Sort’ menu provides the ability to see or change the current grid sort order.

Click the currently active sort column to toggle ascending or descending sort.

    3. Number of rows to display: The ‘Show’ menu provides to the ability to see or change the number of

    rows displayed on the screen.

    4. Grid paging controls: The paging controls provide the user with the ability to navigate through the all

rows of data by the number of rows selected for display.

In addition to the common controls for managing the display and export of grid content, many grid areas provide

buttons to access additional functionality when a grid row is selected as pictured above.

    1. Selected Row: click a grid row to display the action buttons that are available for the selected item. Note:

in some instances, grids are used for display only and no actions are available.

    2. 3. And 4. Action Buttons: These are examples of actions buttons that are displayed when a row is

selected. This document contains descriptions for each of the available action buttons by feature.

Quick Start for Common Site Content Management Actions

2.1. How Do I Access Each Store Site that I Have in the Admin Website?

When you first sign into iApps through the main admin website entry point of http://www.sportclips.com/admin ,

your first available site will be selected by default for the Content Manager. If you have more than one store site,

you can one use several different options for selecting a site.

You may switch sites using the upper right corner site listing control or your custom dashboard. The next

two sections describe how to use both of these options

    1. Click or type in the site listing control found in the upper right corner of the screen

    2. The items in the list within the gray shared areas are called ‘Site Groups’. The site groups are used to

display the associations that your store sites have with other entities in the system. In this example the

site groups represent the ‘Team Leader’ name and Metro site associations for your store sites.

    3. Click the store site that you would like to switch to. Note: your store sites will be listed multiple times in

the list based on their associations with site groups.

specific days will be shared with other external services that require a consistent pattern.

    1. Hours of operation are now explicit by day and special conditions (up to four). Please do not enter the
