ANNEXURE-II: COURSE LAUNCHPAD FAQS

Can I suggest any course for the Launchpad Program?

Simplilearn prefers courses mentioned in the “Potential Courses” list but the trainers are encouraged to actively suggest and expand the list. Simplilearn holds the final rights to accept or refuse a course depending on its larger strategic goals.

Would Simplilearn market my course?

Yes. Simplilearn will extensively market your course on its website, mobile application, affiliate websites and do explicit digital marketing for your course.

Would you have competing courses on Simplilearn Platform?

No. Simplilearn will get into an agreement with only one trainer per course unless the trainer is not able to dedicate the minimum commitment time as agreed upon at the time of formal agreement.

How much minimum time commitment do I have to give?

We expect the trainers to give a time commitment of at least 3 months for the Course Launchpad program. The actual batch schedule will be decided based on the NPS and enrollment for the first few batches. A 90-day notice is required to terminate the agreement.

Do I get paid for course content?

The Course Launchpad program does not pay the trainer separately for the content but the revenue share starts from the first sale.

Who decides the Price of the course?

Simplilearn will decide the price of the course offering and work with the trainer to bring the course to the minimum acceptable quality standards of Simplilearn. A separate course page will also be set up of the course which will be visible to the Simplilearn’s visitors.

When will I get paid?

You will get paid within fifteen days of the batch getting over.

Who own the IP rights of the course?

The trainer will continue to hold the IP of the course and can use the same course to conduct trainings on other platforms for all the courses launched under the Course Launchpad program.

COURSE LAUNCHPAD FAQS

What is the payment structure?

The trainer will be paid a 30% revenue share which will bee calculated on a per batch revenue basis after deducting any transaction and affiliate commission charges. Typically net revenue per batch = Course fee* Unique attendees – transaction charges – refunds – affiliate commissions

Do I get to run the LVC batches forever?

After a period of 6 months, Simplilearn will review the NPS and the business generated by your course and decide to work with you on the coursea) to convert it to our e-learning catalogue at mutually agreeable termsb) or continue to run the LVC batches as isc) or discontinue the batches depending on the student feedback.

Do I have to sign a formal agreement?

Yes, Simplilearn will execute a formal agreement between the trainer and one of it’s entities depending on the Geography in which the trainer resides.
